"C.A.Y.A's menu has changed since our last visit, but the same excellent grill and smoked meals remain. one of the new elements in the menu was the texas charcuterie board. it was a good opportunity to arrange our friends who had never eaten there before the many numbers of tasty smoked that C.A.YA famous for their brisket, ripen and pulled swath together with a lot of accompanying pages. the burnt ending served with a searettich sauce were our favorite and they are highly recommended."

"Not Mr. Digby's best night. The cocktails were creative and good as always, but the meal let us down. The pot pie was bland, the burger uninspired, and a member of our party had to send back his chicken because it was undercooked. The restaurant replaced that, of course, but the chicken would have benefited from a bit more seasoning. The potatoes were nothing special, either. Mr. Digby's comped the chicken, which was nice, but it would have been better if the kitchen had ensured it was properly prepared before serving. I believe this was the first time we ever experienced a problem like this at Mr. Digby's, and we've been going here since it opened. We're going to chalk it up to bad luck and hope things are better the next time we go there."

"Paid $12.43 for 2 piece all white, coleslaw, potato &gravy and coleslaw. recd old chicken, dry and no skin on breast. Requested 2 fresh pieces of chicken. Was told none ready I would need to wait 26 min. Waited the time and recd a new box with a back and drum stick and no coleslaw. "This used to be the best restaurant in Frederick and our go-to for anniversaries and birthdays. We loved everything on the menu… before the chef changed. The chef changed within the last year and honestly it’s not the same and the food is not as good. The short rib which used to melt in your mouth now is dryer and not marinated for as long. It also now comes pre sliced and it just tastes bland and the not very good. The quality of certain dishes has changed for the worse. It is very sad to see an excellent restaurant turn into a mediocre one. Luckily their oysters and wine selection is the same. I don’t anticipate coming back like we used to for special occasions. I wish the chef never changed."

"The restaurant was conveniently located for us and the menu looked good. When we arrived they had no way to check a reservation and didn't have a table ready for us. It took about 15 minutes for someone to even greet our table, so we could already decide on our dinner when a server spoke to us for the first time. It then took another 25 to 30 minutes for our dinner to arrive. We had a Caesar Salad, Slider and Lobster Mac and Cheese and I wouldn't order anything more. The beer was good and it seemed a fun place. There was live music which was really good, but the whole place was so loud that it was impossible to talk to."

"We loved the atmosphere of Mimi's Cafe! It is kept very clean and the silverware was spotless, which is important to us. Our server was attentive but didn't hover, and she was so polite. My husband and daughter got the sweet tea which was unfortunately old and tasted spoiled. But the lemonade that replaced it was refreshing. I ordered the Pain Perdue French Toast and while the taste was absolutely Amazing the size was kinda small. My husband gave the parmesan crusted chicken 4 stars out of 5. He said the sauce tasted like it was from a can. My daughter liked the Mac n cheese kids meal with broccoli. All in all, our experience was great. Looking forward to our next trip so I can try more things on the menu!"

"In July 2022 we went through the drive through and ordered Extra Crispy Chicken. They said it would be about 10 minutes so we paid and parked. About 15 minutes later, the manager, CORY, came out to the car and apologized for the wait, but it would beanother 20 minutes wait for the Extra Crispy Chicken. He substituted for Regular Chicken and told us he would make it up to usnext time we were there. In August about 45 days later, we were back in Glen Carbon and went in. Cory duplicated our originalorder and added a couple of extra pieces of chicken. The order was almost $30 and he was true to his word and there was nocharge. I was surprised at his keeping his word. We went home very impressed with Cory and ate our dinner which was great. Wewill keep going there."

"Dining here made our day. Traveled all the way from Boston and stopped by we have never allowed our daughter who suffers from 7 of the 9 top allergens to dine out EVER. This was our first time letting her eat the food from the actual restaurant. After reading their website we had full faith everything would be ok. Trevor was incredible helping us from beginning to end, checking in during the meal and eased the whole entire process. Ricky was also so kind and chatted with us more, giving us more details about this fantastic restaurant. THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH. My 3 year old was so happy we had an actual family meal together (all eating the same allergen friendly food). Thank you Noble Bird for purely existing and putting us allergy parents at ease. Restaurant was clean. Chicken was juicy and delicious. Even the potatoes were fantastic. Wish a restaurant like this existed on the east coast. "Horrible just horrible words have a hard time describing how horrible it was. food is ridiculously expensive for the quality of service we received it was fine dining prices with a fast food atmosphere. food is also on the bland side went with friend and we both ordered at the same time he got his food but they forgot to make mine and had to wait another 15 minutes not to mention this is the first Mexican restaurant I have ever been to across multiple states that charge extra for extra complementary salsa and they do not have sour cream on any of their dishes so they can charge customers even more money for something that should have came with the meal the waiter was rude and ignored us the entire time we were there came by to take our order then to give us to go boxes and our check. this restaurant has the dressing of a Hispanic restaurant but has the feel of a corporate run company that puts money first I will never go to this place again and would give zero stars if possible"

"This has become one of our favorite places to eat. The staff is friendly and welcoming. They are the kind of people that remembers you after a few visits but don't become obnoxious. Our standby meal is the chicken fried steak breakfast which is usually enough for two meals. Their specials offer a great distraction though. On Mondays they have an all you can eat fish and chips. The fish is delicious, hand cut and battered. The initial serving is plenty. Cliffhanger is great flavor and value."

"I absolutely loved this place! All of the staff were so nice. I'm not sure if he was the owner, manager, etc. But someone was walking around greeting all the diners. My guest and I had already finished our food, but he invited us to stay. Most people seemed to know him and some even hugged him. This us a huge plus for me because he seems to be well integrated and part of the community. This goes to show how amazing the customer service is.The food was also a 10/10. I loved every single thing I ate. The crab and corn soup was almost as good as my mom's. The fish was fried to perfection. The outside was crispy just how I like it. The greens and fried green tomatoes were delicious. My bf loved the ribs and sweet potatoes. The ribs fell off the bone and had a smoked flavor.We didn't love the drinks.Overall, I don't live close but I still 100% be back for the great food and service."
