"The new ownership has made this place worth coming to again! The ONLY place in Slidell to get a REAL, old school, shredded, pot-roast style roast beef poboy! And you can not beat the service, everyone here is so pleasant and kind. I eat here about twice, sometimes 3x per week and I’ve only ever had one extremely minor issue, and when I called the management immediately took care of it even better than I had expected. They know who I am when I walk in, and you can’t get that level of service ANYWHERE these days! If you haven’t been since Southern Boys took over please give them a chance it will definitely be worth your time. They have a forever customer in me!"
