"Very disappointing. Came for the Spam. What we got wasn’t Spam. In addition, what was served was missing items described on menu no sauce, no avocado slaw, no sweet potato fries. Music was blasting altho it was turned down a little when we asked. Most amusing-we called the number on the website to get parking recommendations only to find that the person who was pretending to be at the Baltimore location was actually in Denver. Eventually connected us to Baltimore."

"Reduced to tears on my birthday! What a horrid experience. I foolishly invited 10 friends to Moxies for my birthday celebration. We are a mature group of 55 65yr old professionals who eat out pretty much every day. The service was horrendous...we had to keep sending somebody into the restaurant for service, water, drinks etc. Things deteriorated quickly after we paid the check and then decided to order coffees. Matthew (manager? suddenly appeared, leaned down on the table and told us he needed us to leave straight away as they needed our table for another party just as our coffees arrived! It seems he didn 't like being undermined by the server who told us we were fine to stay, they had another table nearby which they quickly set up. All good. Then the server offered us more drinks so a couple of our party ordered Espresso Martinis. She lost the order and so our drinks took about 30 minutes to arrive and were comped. As soon as our drinks arrived Matthew also reappeared with 2 or 3 security guards and again demanded that we leave as we weren 't spending enough at that point!!! We had paid our check and left a hefty tip which I requested be returned after the rudeness from him. He refused. We told him we wanted to finish our drinks and then we would leave ASAP. Immediately, he got on his radio and we found ourselves surrounded by security staff and other managers . My night was ruined, we were intimidated and embarrassed. The staff refused to clear our table which was covered with glasses, plates, left over food etc. My friend asked many times for them to please clear the table to which Matthew replied that it was not company policy to clear the table while guests were still seated! In the end, I moved all of the debris to another empty table and cleaned the table myself. On my birthday! We will never return to Moxies, which is a pity because we are locals and have been regular patrons since they opened. The evening was ruined. A nightmare."

"I've been here a couple of times but this time it was a little disappointing. The braesola starter which I love really saved up on the mushrooms. And they were plain old mushrooms, not the fabulous wild mushrooms they had in the past. I was amazed. The pasta specifically was salty and dry. The fried calamari and prawns were very salty too. The quality of the food that goes into the meals is really top notch. In their defense, we went there right after the holiday weekend and maybe it was a little different. It won't stop us from coming back in the hope that it was an anomaly rather than the norm."

"My girl and visited Moxies street a night out. We ordered two appetizers the gyozas and something else I can 't recall.... We were standing at the bar behind one seat and waiting for someone to get up. When we got to the bar there was two seats towards the end that had a mat and reserved sign there. Those ppl arrive about 5-10 minutes after us. So the man next to our one seat gets up and attempts to give us his chair, this seat was between us and the lady who had her seat reserved at the bar. We 're getting ready to sit and the bartender puts a reserved sign at that seat now. We ask her how and for who, we 'd been there for about 30/40 minutes now with food and drinks in front of us. She said oh I reserved it bc the lady at the end just told me she had someone else coming. I thought this was super inconsiderate. She was actually the person serving us for the last 30 minutes, and now you want to reserve this seat at a bar for someone who came after us. Super crappy."

"Houlihan’s never disappoints our waitress, Crystal, was friendly, attentive, and aimed to please. As usual, Alfredo stopped by our table and checked on us! He is, most definitely, the face of this neighborhood gem. A few weeks ago I ran into him in ShopRite, and he knew me right away from the restaurant. He was as friendly then, as he is when he’s in the restaurant. Our meals were great, my burger was done to perfection and my husband’s chicken tortilla soup was piping hot and loaded with fresh stringy chicken . He has the char broiled tuna appetizer as his meal . The accompanying slaw was delicious and the tuna was perfectly done. Another great meal at one of our favorites!"

"I hadn't been to Kona Grill in over 5 years. We decided to meet up with friends who were staying nearby, and this was their choice of restaurant. I might consider going back for happy hour in the future, but not for dinner due to the high prices compared to other restaurants in the area offering similar menu items. For example, my pad thai with chicken cost $28, compared to $19 at Big Bowl. The patio was lovely, but our server was having a challenging night which impacted our overall experience."

"I went for the Tuesday night special on Roka burgers. They're on special Tuesday night for $6. Tonight was the first time I had been , and the restaurant is really cool looking. they have lots of ornate woodwork inside and it just looks really well done. The atmosphere is great. The hamburger was amazing. Like of all the different kind of takes I've had on hamburgers over the years this, may be the best one. One thing is like there's two different kinds of sauce on the hamburger and I think for presentation sake and it's an awesome presentation, they come separated I think it would be best to like kind of stir them together before you put the bun on the burger because then you don't take a bite of the straight wasabi. When it all gets down in there and mixed together it's just simply amazing. Their menu looks fantastic and if the quality of the burger is any representation of the rest of the food I'm sure it's superb. I plan to eat here as often as I can. Also the server did everything right, and stayed out of the way."

"Went here for Father’s Day. Hostess was unfriendly. Said she didn’t have our reservation. After a few minutes she said she found it but blamed the system. Waited 20 minutes for them to set up a table even though the restaurant was half empty. Service was one of the worst I’ve experienced. Said they didn’t have menu items that were clearly on the menu, brought multiple incorrect food and drink orders, brought one main course 15 minutes before the others, didn’t bring small plates for appetizers after being asked twice, kept needed to being asked for water refills. Wasn’t because the restaurant was busy either. Have been here before and had decent service but food and service have both gone downhill. Will not be returning."

"I came here with my family to celebrate mother’s day , we were seating at approximately reservation was set for but that’s no problem , we order our appetizers and they took minutes to come out. I was disappointed to see less than chicken wings on myplate with a side of onlytwo celery sticks ! the appetizers costed me nearly Then we order our entrees , I ordered a chicken parmesan , my brother ordered a chicken parmesan sandwhich , and my mother ordered a shrimp pasta , our food approximately took minutes, not terrible but still a wait , then to receive our food COLD ! , i took a couple bites of the pasta that was room temperature , unacceptable ! For all that wait I should’ve received fresh food. My brother also experienced cold food! the experience was not what I expected"

"They don’t provide any rice! Make sure you remember to order it! We went to this Asian restaurant and were surprised to find no rice included. "First time visit to the Hickory House and it won 't be the last! Stopped by on a Saturday evening and was told it would be a 20-40 min wait to be seated. We were seated in 20 min. Our server Alexis was just fantastic. Very attentive, super friendly and considerate of her coworkers. The wait for the food after ordering was average for how busy the restaurant was. The food however was far from average. Everything was excellent! From the sweet butter and crunchy bread to the perfectly prepared, smoky, moist, huge rack of ribs, no detail was missed.The BBQ sauce itself, had about 4 distinct flavors...that 's a sauce made with care. The loaded baked potato is a delicious, cheesy smoked bacon, homemade sour cream and chive topped, meal by itself! The atmosphere is charming, relaxing and clean. All staff encountered were friendly and attentive. Prices are about average for excellent BBQ. The Hickory House is definitely on my go to list for exceptional food and service!"

"I want to acknowledge our server, who did an excellent job, but sadly, we will not be returning to this restaurant. My husband ordered a ribeye steak, but it was thin and tough with too much gristle. I opted for a $17 Chopped Salad, which turned out to be the smallest salad I’ve ever encountered for that price—no bigger than a side salad. The toppings were sparse, and they had run out of eggs, one of the toppings listed. Ultimately, we both felt unsatisfied and ended up getting another dinner at a different restaurant because the portions were far too small and his steak was unappetizing. Our friends ordered chicken satays from the happy hour menu, and for $6, they received just one skewer with a thin 3-inch strip of chicken on it."
