"I just shared this on the Montville Moms page... today I had lunch at Boardwalk Pizza in Fairfield and it was delicious! We ordered a large pizza, an eggplant sandwich, a salad, and Zeppoles. They forgot to bring the eggplant sandwich at first, but it wasn’t a big deal since we were busy enjoying the salad and pizza. When the woman finally brought it over, she apologized and told us that the meal was on the house. What fantastic customer service! I highly recommend checking it out, especially since they currently have a Groupon available!"

"#DJS8 #eatatjumbos My first time back since they reopened. The kids had a small cheese pizza and loved it. I tried the Vegan Steakbomb with fries. The fries were always good and remain so. Delicious!!! The Vegan Steakbomb was simply incredible. Best vegan sub in my 35 years of eating vegan food. No joke. No lie. Greasy in the best way possible. Made with Seitan. This thing was packed. Yummy new vegan cheese out of NYC. I wish I took pictures but I was starving. Next time, no doubt. Thanks to Grover Taylor and the team for a job well done. All power to the people!!!"

"The service was excellent. Since it was lunchtime, the bartender was handling the entire area alone for a bit, but she managed everything exceptionally well. The food was delicious; my sandwich was super fresh, and they let me customize it completely. The coconut shrimp salad was also very tasty. For those with dietary restrictions, they offer customizable options, including lettuce wraps. As for parking, there's plenty available, with additional overflow across the street. The restaurant is kid-friendly and allows children, and it is wheelchair accessible with a ramp."

"The food and service are always amazing! I had seafood gumbo and peach bignets. So delicious. Every bite. I also love their fried shrimp, red pepper cabbage, and French fries. The seafood pasta is outstanding. I've never had anything there I didn't like. I could just get an order of all sides and be happy mac cheese yams, rice gravy, greens, red beans rice are all so good. I only have the atmosphere a 3 star simply because I think they've outgrown this spot, more customers than seating."

"I was initially referred to this place to eat the black beans veggie burger it was said to be vegan. mushroom duxelle, which is used in this dish (that is hit or miss how it can have hard understaffed bits in it), contains butter. the sriracha aioli is made with mayo. the portabello burger has two types of cheese and even if they don't tell them a cheese and that they are vegan, they will still be the breadth butter. their other choice is: clear salate. last but not least I found haare in my food. the chef I was sweating about eating, yelling at me. (this is after I have my eating with hair in it again nicely sent several times) the toilets are absolutely disgusting. if they are not vegan, they enjoy beer, good pommes and cleanliness is not a big thing, they could love it."

"My family and I visited JJs as part of our self-imposed challenge to sample various pizzerias in the Western New York area. We ordered a large cheese and pepperoni pizza and we all agreed that it was fantastic! The crust was thick, yet the pizza remained crisp and not soggy. "The atmosphere was pretty but service was incredibly slow. We were seated 30 minutes after our reservation time and it took another 20 for drinks to arrive (but restaurant was not full). Our server was helping out from another restaurant on site and was (understandably) unfamiliar with the menu and wine list. Rather than send over someone who could answer questions he stated he didn’t know about the wine or food. Maybe there was no one else available to send over? The wine list was nice, the food choices ample. My meal was very mediocre. They mixed up our plates so my business associate received a more well done steak than is preferred but we didn’t realize this until we’d both already dug in. I will give credit that despite a long wait our food arrived hot! Just nothing special at all and not what I would expect for the price. I’d also note there were many menus/papers on the table and nothing was gone over, including specials. For the price, I would not go back. Definitely not great for a business meal."

"The place is beautiful and happy to see a nice new restaurant on the Bay. When we walked in the sign stated wait to be seated so we did. Two workers were setting at the bar and never acknowledged us, one server walked by more than once and never acknowledged us, another girl was folding silverware and never acknowledged us and finally after 5 minutes Isabella asked us if we wanted a table and we said yes, her response was put off that we did not seat ourselves so I pointed out to her that sign said “please wait to be seated”. I had the lobster Mac and Cheese but not at all worth $25. It was not hot and my husbands salad was served after the dinner."

"Most people eating here probably have their cars at meters, which aren't particularly inexpensive for a small town. So one wishes the service would be faster. It's not the server's (I use the singular intentionally--there was only one server, who was working her whatever it is off . Why it should take 20 minutes to get a draft beer I have no idea. The bar was not busy, it was almost 2 in the afternoon. Food needs to be cooked (i.e., it can take time , and the tacos (it was Taco Wednesday, which we hadn't known but of which we took advantage were really good, the burger (about $12 less so. Good beer list. Mostly loud young men there, with multiple televisions blaring away. The big room has a scattered feel. And yet...it's kind of fun, and would be more fun if one didn't have a car outside running out of time (no fault of the car, is it?"

"In general, I prefer FoMu to any other ice cream shop I've tried on the West Coast. Even after leaving Boston, I'll be reminiscing about this place. The ice cream was so rich and creamy that I had to double-check to make sure it was completely vegan. The Rooibos Oat flavor was amazing, with its herbal tea base and house-made oat crumble adding the perfect amount of texture and sweetness. The Earl Grey Shortbread flavor was also delightful, especially with the addition of shortbread pieces. I appreciate the variety of offerings at FoMu, including cakes, cookie dough, frappes, gluten-free brownies, pints, different cookie flavors, ice cream sandwiches, and more. This place truly stands out with its diverse and delicious options."

"Is there a way to give more than 5 stars?!?! Because if there was, I would. Some places I eat at and think, that was a good meal. Not many places do I eat at, then wake up the next day and think, dang that was an amazing meal!!! We went on a Friday night around 530. 5 of us, 3 kids between 13 and 8. Took about 10 minutes to get a table. We were sat and promptly given a menu and drinks ordered. I asked what was on tap and they offered a sample but I just said bring me one. I ordered the Mac and Cheese Bratwurst. Just wow. The macaroni was fresh and perfectly cooked. The cheese sauce was phenomenal. The bratwurst in it tasted amazing and there was plenty in the bowl. My wife got some stew thing and lived it. One kid got a burger and I tasted it, it was really good. Her fries were amazing too. My boy got the ribs and they were fall of the bone food. I thought they could have been bigger for the price, but it wasn’t bad. My oldest got the Fish and Chips. She really likes it. Overall, it was amazing and we will go back."

"I understand that everyone is trying to make extra money during the Thanksgiving holiday, but quoting one price over the phone and then giving a different price just 15 minutes later is completely dishonest. The order I placed felt unplanned, as if I had to accept whatever was available. I called multiple times, and each time the price changed again within 30 minutes, which was frustrating. I realize I ordered Thanksgiving food at the last minute, but if you quote a price, you should stick to it. Additionally, I selected cornbread as a side after placing my order, which was not what I intended. I’m not trying to make a fuss, but I wanted to share my experience from yesterday. I typically enjoy getting the Ruck Chicken from your restaurant, but yesterday's visit was quite unpleasant. I have great respect for small businesses and understand how challenging things can be right now, but the behavior of the staff in the store yesterday was unacceptable."

"I visit this place occasionally for drinks and some delicious food. The menu is quite accommodating for vegetarians, and their selection of craft beers has consistently been excellent. The bartender, Raven, is one of the nicest servers I’ve ever encountered. I highly recommend it!"
