"I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant for the second time. Unfortunately, the food quality was terrible, and I ended up spending a good amount of money. The drinks and water were warm, and the fruit seemed stale, likely sitting in a warm fridge for days. Even the water I received had a broken seal, which I didn't notice until I opened it. The overall quality of the food was so poor that it could potentially make someone sick.
During my first visit, the sour cream I received had a strange smell, but I dismissed it, thinking it might have gone bad because I picked it up late. This time, I visited the restaurant in person, expecting freshly made food. While most of the items looked fine, the steak had blood in it, which I discovered when the staff was cutting it and quickly placed it in the bowl without realizing until I turned away.
I ordered steak with quinoa, sweet potato, and mac and cheese, but unfortunately, I couldn’t taste or smell the food before purchasing. When I finally opened my food back at work, a spoiled smell hit me, and I found a hair tangled in the quinoa along with questionable meat. I was too far from the restaurant to return for a refund, especially since I was on the clock.
I called the manager to explain my situation. While she apologized and assured me everything was made fresh, we exchanged names, and she offered me store credit, which I’m not likely to use anytime soon. I could zoom in to see the hair—it was a small white sliver. I genuinely feel like I was served food that was over a week old and reheated."
