"The ambiance was wonderful, featuring a nice covered outdoor seating area away from the road, as well as a spacious, clean, modern indoor dining area with comfortable seating. The Gyros (pronounced Yee-ros) were among the best we've had in California. We tried the classic lamb and beef version, which was excellent, and the chicken option, which was fantastic. Opting for the combo allowed us to choose between fries and a drink, or fries and a salad, or salad and a drink. The green salad was perfectly dressed with olive oil, salt, and pepper—simple yet delicious, allowing the fresh taste of the lettuce to shine through. The Gyros were well-constructed, with just the right amount of salad and no soggy pita from excess sauce; it held together until the very last few bites. Speaking of bites, come hungry—the portions are generously meaty. The REAL potato fries were superb and well-seasoned. My wife and I knew the food was outstanding because we fell into silence for a few minutes, completely absorbed in our meal. To finish off our main course, we decided to share some beignets for dessert. I know there are five in the picture I took, but I couldn't resist and ate one before I realized I hadn’t captured the moment! So yes, there are six in total, freshly fried, light, and drizzled with flavored honey syrup and topped with nuts. The aroma was incredible, and the flavor was even better. The service here was excellent. You order at the counter, pay, and then collect your drinks from a machine while your meal is brought to your table by the server. The staff was friendly, too—they even offered to hold off on making our beignets until we had finished our Gyros, and then they brought them out freshly made. Little touches like that make a big difference!"
