"I then called the person who was supposed to receive the burrito meal, and she agreed to switch it to a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit meal instead. When I reached the window, I saw the manager was busy with a cash register shift change. I overheard him tell the girl that the second window would just need to be informed about the order change. I waited while he switched the cash tray, but when he finished, no one communicated the update to the new person at the window, so we had to go through the entire process again. When I got to the second window, they had no idea what was happening, and I had to explain everything all over again. Frustration set in, and I expressed my dissatisfaction with their management, pointing out the lack of communication.
I eventually received my beverages and was asked to move to a waiting area. In all the years I’ve dined at this McDonald's, regardless of how busy it was, I’ve never had to wait for my order until recently. A different manager eventually brought out my meal and explained that although I had already paid for my burrito meal, they had run out before I arrived. I made it clear that this didn't excuse the chaotic experience I had upon my arrival, and I was frustrated with having to wait in a parking spot for my order once again.
It’s apparent that whoever is managing this store is seriously dropping the ball. The only employees who seem committed to providing decent customer service are the frontline workers; the management appears to prefer arguing and making excuses. There are plenty of other fast-food options in the area, and from now on, we’ll be choosing those instead. I've never had to wait for an order at those places. Moreover, if an order is completed through the app, items should not be allowed to sell out before the customer arrives to pick up their order."
