"My husband and I first discovered Firehouse Subs when we were living in the Fort Smith, AR area around 15 years ago. He actually found it first and introduced me to it. I was instantly hooked, just like him. When we moved to OKC 11 years ago, there were no Firehouse Subs in the area, which was disappointing. So you can imagine our excitement when we found one not too far from our new home. Our son was too young to remember Firehouse Subs from our time in Van Buren, so when it opened in our new location, we had to go. He loved it from his first bite, always ordering the Italian sub. My husband always goes for the Hook and Ladder, and I used to get the Italian until I tried the Turkey Salsa Verde. It's delicious! Now our son is a freshman at ECU in Ada and unfortunately, they don't have a Firehouse location there. So whenever he comes home, he always has to get his Firehouse fix."

"Team really enjoyed this meal. Had a working lunch. Ordered using the website and it was effortless. Order was correct and ready for pick up when promised. Only concern was they gave the option for initials on the packages and they did not make it onto the sandwiches. Slowed us down for just a moment. Would recommend for group lunches again"

"The food is good, always fresh. Service SUCKS! Every time I order online, they always lack stuff like my soup or chips or a cookie, or not even my sandwich when I extra roasted. so annoying! It is called fast pickup for a reason. Do not see why I have to go out of my way to remind them of the other things EVERYTIME.. also the times I stood in the line, the girl was so rude!!! I don't want to deal with this place. The subs are good, but a little expensive, although it is worth for quality and freshness. I'm gonna go to another fireworks subsite from now on, as it's been 4 times that they're missing things."

"Overall, our food was good and well prepared. However, three of the four sandwiches no longer had to show up. My sandwich had almost no cheese (if any), and I asked salad and black olives for two other sandwiches, none of which was on both sandwiches. The service was good and the food was prepared in time. I was just disappointed with the missing blows. I haven't checked the food before I go with my order. I'll remember checking next time! We love Firehouse!"

"**Restaurant Review - October 2022** I had a great experience with the app! You can easily customize and order your meal just the way you like it, and pick it up right at the door. However, I had a specific request for fresh or grilled onions without any other ingredients. Unfortunately, my sandwich arrived loaded with grilled onions, likely due to my addition of grilled green peppers, which was indicated on the order. The staff was very friendly and offered to remake the sandwich when I called, which I appreciated. However, they mentioned I needed to wait in line again for the pickup, even though I had ordered over the phone. It didn’t really make sense to me; I just wanted my sandwich, wherever it might be! After a four-minute wait in line, I finally got my sandwich. When I got home, I realized they had left out the grilled peppers I had asked for, but I still had the grilled onions I didn’t want. It was frustrating because my customization was clearly written on the order for pickup, but somehow, it didn’t translate to the actual sandwich. I didn’t bother calling back to have it fixed, as I wasn’t sure they would believe my claim. Plus, even if they did, I’d just have to wait in line again, which was not appealing."

"The meatball sub here is hands down the best in Wichita and makes a certain popular sandwich chain seem disappointing by comparison. With perfectly seasoned meatballs, marinara, and Italian herbs, it’s a delight. I always add sautéed peppers and onions, which enhance the fresh flavor even more. The marinara sauce is also freshly made, adding to the overall deliciousness. The mac and cheese may be straightforward, but it's tasty, though a little more salt wouldn’t hurt. I ordered a large drink, and they have a "make your own" Coca-Cola Freestyle machine, which is a nice touch. While the prices might be a bit high for some, the quality justifies it. The large sub is indeed substantial and stacked generously. I chose pickup, and even during the busy lunch rush around 1:30 PM, my order was ready in just 10 minutes. They’ve also switched to new takeout paper bags that support the large subs better and are recyclable, which is great. On a personal note, I had COVID-19 during Christmas and lost my taste and smell for about a month. After recovering, food still felt bland and unexciting for a few weeks. However, trying Firehouse really brought my taste buds back to life; it was truly delicious!"

"Honestly, I am very disappointed. I have not been to this location in over a year, and something certainly changed....be it management, employees or ownership. The employees did not greet me and I waited around for someone to take my order. A younger man came out and took my order but acted like I was a nuisance, as I was redeeming my birthday sub. As a customer who worked in the service industry before, I find it disturbing that no one has mentioned this before and corrected the action. I understand that employees are hard to find right now but employees that don't care are worse than having no staff, at least then you would have a valid excuse for lack of service. I agree with previous comments in regard to sanitation. Dirty tables, dirty soda fountain and a general lack of caring how the store is presented. I will not be returning and that is sad to say because I used to look forward to coming to this location after work years ago."

"The sandwiches here are tasty, but there's a major issue with the online ordering process. If you place an order online and arrive 20 minutes later, it seems like your order still isn’t ready because they prioritize walk-in customers who just arrived. This is frustrating, especially since I placed my order first and expected it to be prepared accordingly. It's a real waste of my lunch break, especially considering I waited 30 minutes after placing my online order, and there was another online order ahead of mine that was placed 15 minutes ago."

"If there was a way to transfer over the front of this place GO AWAY DONT STOP HERE I would do it! Filthy, the employees don't wash hands, tables, floors or bathrooms. The service is not even differentiated, it is terrible. No ice cream for the drinks and when the manager said he had no answer or solution. The whole lobby smells like the urinal cakes from the toilets that are dirty. I have eaten in several Firehouse Subs and love the food and the atmosphere. That's not one of them."

"We have eaten at the firehouse subs on Sherwood way in San Angelo many times and it's always been great food and quick friendly service.......but today we went thru the drive thru and ordered a sandwich and 3 Mac and cheese bowls. We received the bag and looked in to check the order and saw only 2 Mac and cheese and a sandwich, when I informed the lady at the window that we were missing 1 Mac and cheese she apologized and said she would get it right out....... A couple of minutes goes by then a guy opens the window and questions if we are sure there are only 2 in the bag, I hand him the bag with the Mac in it and he counts it and says yeah there's only 2 in there then asks if I'm sure it's not in the other bag so I handed him both bags bag and told him I'm not sure I can count past 2, you better double check all my bags, he then removes everything from the bags,. Counts everything then replaces it and hands the bags back repeating himself.. no there's only 2 in there.... He closes the window and another man opens the window and questions me again about the 3rd Mac and cheese, he says hmmm that's weird for a Mac and cheese to just disappear cause we made 3..... Maybe you should question your employees better instead of treating the customer like some kind of thieving crackhead that's trying to steal a $5.00 bowl of Mac and cheese. Will not be going back to this firehouse"

"The only reason I’m giving one star is so I can give a review. On Sunday Sep 24 6pm at this specific location I ordered Hot Smoke BBQ sandwich and also I ordered a Turkey Bacon ranch sandwich. There was NO Barbecue Sauce and the sandwich was Cold on my Supposedly HOT Smoke Barbecue brisket sub. And on my Turkey Bacon Ranch sun the Bacon was RAW!!! I’m sure NOT all Firesub locations are disgusting like this one and I have a lot of respect and appreciate for the firefighters that own these establishments. But they really need to look into this location because if I could of have I wouldn’t have given a single star to this location but then I wouldn’t have been able to give a review"

"Let me start by saying that I've been to this location many times over the past year and a half. Always a great experience. This was not the case today. I don't know if management changed or what, but such a disappointment. There seemed to be moreplaying and talking going on than anything. After placing my order for 5 sandwiches all with extra pickles a door dasher camein. For some reason my order got pushed behind his. While they made his order, they all talked and goofed off. They were allvery vulgar with absolutely no concern for the children sitting in earshot. After waiting over 30 minutes I had my food. Gothome, more disappointment. Food wasn't packaged well, and not 1 pickle in the whole mess. I hope this is not the new normalfor this location. I will try it once more before ruling it out, but what a huge turn off. Such a shame! Used to be a wonderfulplace to take the kids into. Get it together guys. Bring back the professional family environment."

"When we ordered our sandwiches and went to pay, we realized that the staff member had assumed we wanted small subs. When we pointed out that we wanted large ones, he gave us an annoyed look, sighed, and explained that he would have to delete and re-enter the entire order. To me, it seemed like it would have been simple to ask rather than assume, especially since it was only three sandwiches. He managed to fix the order, but it took about 10 minutes for it to be ready. My sister and her husband were both happy with their Hook and Ladder sandwiches. I chose the Engineer but wasn’t quite as satisfied. While the meat was delicious, the mushrooms didn’t seem to blend well with the rest, and I couldn’t detect any cheese. Overall, the sandwich felt like it was lacking salt. I had also asked for jalapeños and cucumbers. At first, I thought they had forgotten the jalapeños, but I found two slices on my sandwich while eating. I wish there had been more! Perhaps it has been so long since I had Firehouse that I remembered it better than it really was—or maybe not. While I won't be rushing back to this location, I am willing to try another Firehouse in hopes of restoring my faith in the chain."

"I had an amazing experience! The restaurant is safe, clean, and has a warm, inviting atmosphere. I used to visit the Battleground Road location in Greensboro frequently, but I was surprised to find it closed without any notice. Luckily, I searched online and discovered this location, which is less than ten minutes away—thank goodness! "Got the brisket sub large size, was enough for two meals. I added extra cheese, no mayo. I asked for extra pickle, no pickle at all. Disappointed. Didn't know till we got home. "Incompetent staff. Super slow. Waited for my online order 30-40 mins past the time it was established to be ready. Stood at the pickup area for 15 mins and finally asked where my order was.
