"We haven’t been to Darwell’s in some time, but coming back again made me realize why it is one of our favorite places to eat. The ambiance of this restaurant is magical. There are lights all around and local art all over the ceilings and walls- pouring out into the outside area. Before we reached the front door, we were greeted by the friendly faces of their amazing staff. There were so many options, but I went with what they’re known for- their famous etouffe. They had many more delicious offerings as well, such as shrimp scampi with crab cake. It was my son’s birthday and they all took the time to bring a piece of their delicious brownie a la mode made by their talented resident baker. Everything was made with love. On the way out, there is a variety of spices and accoutrements one can buy to try to mimic the flavors in their food. If you ever come to Mississippi, go to Long Beach and check this place out. You won’t regret it!"
