"My wife and I wanted a nice laid-back place to sit outside and enjoy a fun dinner. We ended up being very disappointed by the service. Our server took about 10-15 minutes to get to the table (which feels like an eternity when you are waiting to order beverages). They took our drink order and quickly returned with a cocktail and waters but the beer we ordered was delayed by a few minutes. Not a big deal, but then the night went south. We didn't see our server again for a very long time. We started to feel like our appetizer was a little delayed when food runners showed up with our entrees. No app in sight. We let them know and eventually the server brought our app. But we were halfway into the meal by that point. The food tasted fine. Nothing extraordinary but not bad. The nachos, I admit, were delicious. The mac and cheese we ordered was described to have bread crumbs but was missing that. Fortunately the server had it taken care of pretty quickly. We were never asked about having our drinks refilled. And after eating, we waited a long time for our check. It just seemed to take forever for everything. None of the problems by themselves would have been a big deal, but together it added up to a somewhat unpleasant experience. The server was nice and apologetic. They also comped us the appetizer which was nice. May have been an off night or maybe a new server, but I can't say I would recommend going on a Saturday night. Also, we did enjoy the outdoor seating area. It was a little tight, but the ambiance was nice."

"The policy itself seems irrational. If a hotel claims to be pet-friendly, why would it prohibit leaving pets in a room that you're paying for? My main frustration isn’t even the policy itself, but the interaction with a staff member named Christine. She called to inform me that my dog was barking, which I completely understand. I said I would return in about five minutes, but she continued to repeat herself about the need for me to come back and sign a policy I was unaware of. I was having issues with the app where I usually make my reservations, which may have contributed to the misunderstanding. Even during check-in, the young man at the front desk was very polite and mentioned that there had been issues with the online system. Christine could have simply asked me to return promptly to sign the new policy, but instead, she was dismissive and kept repeating her demands, completely ignoring my explanations. The other two staff members at the front desk just stood by nodding while Christine continued her lecture. Her approach was exceedingly rude. As a result of this experience, I will not be returning to Hyatt hotels and will look for alternative accommodations with more understanding staff and better policies. While the hotel's location in downtown Greenville is convenient, the property itself lacks any unique features and is in dire need of upgrades, as many others have pointed out in their reviews."
