"Hunters Head Tavern was recommended by a friend who has dined there. It was very nice. We ate inside as a storm was approaching and the young man who seated us asked if we wanted to sit outside but mentioned the storm. I thought the tables were small and not much room with all the dishes, glasses etc. We sat by the wall for a table of two. The restaurant was not crowded and I would have preferred a bigger table. I would have eaten outside on the patio if the storm was not coming as the tables in the courtyard were much more favorable for dining. I am sorry I have to say something about the tables and seating as the establishment needs to be more cognizant of the diners having diner in the establishment. No one wants to feel squashed when having an enjoyable evening out Overall, the food was delicious. Drinks were excellent. Waitress was very friendly."

"This is for takeout. Generally a nice place to eat in person. Good beer. Takeout however is a different experience. As someone who lives in Corvallis he have had takeout a number of times with variable results. Mostly it is the small stuff but it is consistent so quite annoying. They forget things like the fries, the soup or the dips. they also started watering down the cheese sauce on the pretzels to be the consistency of milk. We had two pretzels last night and they gave us one cup of milk consistency cheese sauce and forgot any dip for the kids order and the mustard dips. Other times as above they have forgotten soups, side salads or fries. Obviously it is important to check when picking up but that does not seem to be such a problem at other places. Kinda dry burgers on takeout as well. I guess the solution is we probably will not be getting takeout anymore."
