"I was excited to return here for brunch after having an amazing experience several months ago. Our server was great, but for the first time ever in my life, I (and someone else in my group had to send back food because it was cold. We 've all obviously been places in the past where maybe the food wasn 't as hot as we 'd like, but never to the point of it being an issue. Unfortunately though, the food some of us received at North Italia was quite literally COLD. The eggs on my beef tenderloin eggs platter, my friend 's pasta dish, and all 3 orders of side potatoes at the table were not just not hot , but cold. I suspect these dishes were finished way early and left sitting on the line while our friend 's shrimp dish was being finished (which came out hot and delicious! . There obviously was not a heat lamp or any other effort to keep these warm. It was a shame because the food is typically really good! My new eggs came hot, but my friend 's pasta was taken back and brought to her still cold, and the new potatoes brought still felt as if they 'd been fried an hour+ before. Manager who brought the new food never actually identified himself as the manager, asked how things were, or offered any apologies, which was odd, but our server did profusely apologize even though we assured him we knew it wasn 't his fault."
