"The food is undeniably delicious—excellent, even. After our first visit, we were eager to bring friends and family along, and we did just that, returning three times in three weeks with four new potential patrons. However, with each visit, the service deteriorated, leading to frustration rather than enjoyment during our dinners. Each guest received their food at different times, with the last meal arriving a full 30 minutes after the first person had finished eating, which created an awkward atmosphere.
There were also mix-ups with our orders. The wait times for drinks, appetizers, and even a needed knife were inexplicably long, especially given that there were only ten people in the restaurant, including our party. We had to prompt our waiter twice for items with ten-minute gaps in between. Drinks took 10 to 15 minutes to arrive, and appetizers were served at odd times during our main courses.
We kept making excuses for the subpar service because we really wanted to enjoy the fantastic food, but basic service is essential for any successful restaurant— and I stress the word "basic." On our last visit (April 26, 2022), we would have happily doubled our bill with more drinks and desserts; instead, we rushed to leave. What could have been a regular dining spot for us has now turned into a place we won’t be returning to. It’s a shame that this once-promising gem has become a never-again."
