"While the bathroom was clean, it could use some improvements. I believe a restaurant's cleanliness, including its bathroom, is a reflection of its overall quality. The music was loud for such a small space, which only has about eight tables. During our visit, there was a rather vulgar music video playing, but after we requested a change, they kindly obliged.
One thing that stood out negatively was the sign indicating a "4% surcharge for card payments." I find this trend quite tacky. If a business is struggling to afford operational costs, it should reconsider its pricing strategy instead of imposing surcharges on customers. It would be much better to incorporate these costs into the menu prices rather than penalizing those who prefer not to pay with cash.
On the plus side, vegetarian options, like the pupusas, are available."
