"The service was exceptional—I was checked on multiple times during my meal, and my plate was cleared promptly before the bill was presented. I also appreciated having a napkin dispenser at the table since I tend to spill food often; it was nice to have extra napkins on hand. All in all, I would definitely come back to this restaurant the next time I'm in the area!"

"I have visited the Poughkeepsie location, and I have to say that Golden Corral is far better. First of all, during both of my visits around noon, I thought I was paying the lunch price of $12.75 per person. However, each time I was charged $17.99 per person and was told that it’s dinner all day. That’s not what your sign indicates, and there’s no mention of “Dinner all Day” anywhere to be found. I find that really frustrating. As a result, I didn’t tip the bus girl, as she shouldn’t have to bear the brunt of the extra charges being made. If they’re charging me an additional $5 per person illegally, they can give that money to her. There’s no lunch price displayed when entering the restaurant, yet you suddenly charge dinner prices at noon. Sorry, but your scheme has been uncovered. Don’t expect me to tip anyone."

"If you are searching for great Colombian food then you’ll love this place. They have delicious good. We ordered chicken wings with fries for my son, my daughter had quesadillas (she asked isn’t that Mexican not Colombian- good question), I had shrimp in wine sauce and my husband steak. Anyways, not sure about the authenticity but the food was good. We went with friends and they are regular customers. Only drawback of this spot, service was slow. Inside was beautiful and they had cute set-up towards the back. It showcased life of Colombian. I would definitely go back. "Everything we ordered was delicious. The fried yucca opened with a spicy aioli sauce that went nicely with a beer. The grilled blackened salmon was cooked perfectly, and came with nicely seasoned potatoes and Brussels sprouts. The grilled asparagus likewise was cooked perfectly and disappeared quickly. The Gambas a la Cazuela (shrimp in a white wine garlic sauce that is amazing) was probably the highlight, and required a little extra garlic bread to mop up. There’s some good eatin’ here. Go get you some."

"I ordered a chimichanga and nachos to go, and it was the worst food I've ever had. The cheese mixture for the nachos lacked flavor and had a watery consistency; it looked like vomit. Everything, including the chimichanga and its sides, was crammed into one container, causing everything to mix together. The chimichanga ended up soggy, and it was packed so tightly in the bag that the lids got crushed and caused the food to spill everywhere. It was all unappetizing and ended up in the trash. Overall, it was a huge disappointment, and I won’t be returning."

"Not impressed. I was seated and it took about 15 minutes for someone to take my drink order. It's 9:30 at night so not very many people in the restaurant. I ordered the birria tacos. And just let me say, that's not what I was givin. I basically received soft shell tacos with some super spicy nasty green sauce. These are supposed to come with a red sauce that they have been dipped and pan fried in. (I hate soft tacos) If I wanted overpriced nasty soft tacos I would have ordered that. $70 for 3 people to eat. I left hungry... so I'm beyond disappointed. I used to come often, I would get a #6. But I'm tired of soggy grease filled unflavored tacos and wanted to try something else. I was totally wrong and we will never be back. If you want unseasoned nasty food... this is the place for you. I'm going to stick to kansas city for now on, im tried of supporting local businesses that just cant get it right. Only thing I would ever recommend from here would maybe be the salsa and rice. Seriously though, go somewhere else unless you have no taste buds."

"This review is not based on food or service, just an unpleasant recent experience. My family and I are regulars here and we are usually very content with the food and service, however on the morning of June 3rd we left the establishment very sad, confused and disappointed. My husband and I were seriously over charged for breakfast. We were each charged $22 for boiled green plantains with chuleta. So our breakfast included 2 breakfast plates of green boiled bananas with meat 2 passion fruit juices and 1 to go small dessert $62. It made us sad to be overcharged because we have been supporting this business since day 1 especially during the covid lockdown . I understand that inflation has had a negative effect on businesses and everyone in general but No one should have to pay $22 for boiled green bananas. My suggestion is keep the prices at a reasonable range."

"I was so looking forward to eat at this restaurant as my friend has been going here for many years since the time she lived in BX until now years after moving to the DC area. She has always raved about their food so we knew it was a must to stop by there last night to get our plates of food to take with us back home. We bought rez guisado con arroz y habichuelas. She also bought a small portion of chicken guisado because she noticed the portion of the rez guisado they served was small. Everyone’s demeanor seemed as though they were just ready to just close shop and be on their way. Granted it was late when we arrived (around closing) but there was still food available and rendering proper customer service and good food is a must at any hour for a food establishment. One particular lady was not very pleasant and when I tried to carry a short conversation with her about how we were taking the food back home to show how excited we were, she didn’t say a word to me until I repeated the comment to her in Spanish twice more loudly the second time (although politely) so she could tell I knew she was being rude. Her reaction when she did respond was “ah ok” and then she proceeded to serve the rest of my order. Also my portion of red beans/habichuelas were served in a small plastic container and when I opened it today to reheat my plate of food at home there was literally no beans and nothing but the sauce in the container (check the pictures). The rez guisado was basically three chunks of meat with three potatoes and barely any sauce was added. The yellow rice was very dry as well. Overall the taste of the food was mediocre and so was the service. My friend says the quality of the food has definitely changed and for my first experience it will definitely be the last."

"I found the waitstaff to be very friendly and informative. I ordered the fish tacos, which were served with rice and beans. The fish tacos featured crispy deep-fried cod, but the coleslaw was watery and cold, and the mango chunks were also cold. Unfortunately, the overall flavor and texture of the taco didn't quite match what I would expect from an excellent fish taco. However, both the rice and the beans were excellent."

"Upon arrival, the hostess and other staff told us Open Table was not working and they had no record of our Open Table reservation for our Mother's Day Party of 6. However, they arranged a small table with six chairs and the restaurant quickly filled up to Mother's Day. The staff service was excellent, the bathrooms glittered clean and the ambience was minimalist. Our table is cut. My wife and I felt that the Jarrito's nachos tasted with chicken, like the chicken wasn't fresh. My mero fillet had little taste and the sauce used to taste it in the kitchen as in a glass. Other dishes I tried from our party lubricated like the same low to medium selection for taste and quality. I didn't hear anyone in our group adding the food, even though we had a good time. Our party of 6 ended the payment of over $180 with drinks and drinks that are suitable for the quality of food. $5 parking service was good."

"The restaurant's atmosphere was quite somber, and there was a musty odor that made it feel unwelcoming. Unfortunately, this really took away from our appetite. The only thing we genuinely enjoyed was the juice. We ordered empanadas, but they were bland, and the beans in the bandeja paisa were equally underwhelming. I'm giving it 3 stars primarily because of the woman who was working there; she was very polite and welcoming."

"There are many better choices for Mexican food here in Athens. The last two times we have been to Agua Linda there have been serious concerns. Besides service being slow, poor customer service, etc there has been food concerns which were ignored. A reasonable person would assume if the food took a long time to come out it was due to being prepared fresh but not here. The food takes forever to come out and when it does it is cold, grease has gotten gelatinous/solidified in the food and the presentation is a haphazard plate of food almost mixed together. Again, this is not the first instance but an ongoing concern. In addition, two of the three meals ordered the meal was cold and not cooked and when brought to the servers attention they whisked the plate away without a word. A manager returns to the table and explains the meal was inspected and is good instead it becomes our fault for not understanding how the prepared meat should taste or be presented. Wait, there is more, yesterday we ordered and the meat was rancid smelling. We were told the meat in all the dishes ordered was acceptable to the cook and the manager stated the issue was the “onions’. She continued an attempt to convince our eating party that the rancid meat was due to onions which “sat in the bottom of a container” that may or may not have developed a bad taste and odor. Hmm, two of our dishes had no onions so I find fault in their logic. As quick as the rehearsed explanation was given the manager disappeared from table side to avoid any further discussion or questions. This restaurant is extremely over-priced for what you get (possible food poisoning included) and what you pay for… I try not to vent complaints in the open I would rather address it with staff and such and just not comment about a restaurants poor performance. I would rather save my response to be positive and to encourage others to visit the best restaurants. Needless to say We Will NOT return."
