"I come here often with my husband and my adult children. We enjoy coming in and supporting a family ran business. The food is great and it always tastes the same which is, for me, important. A lot of restaurants since Covid, have changed out their ingredients for cheaper ones and sacrificed taste to save money. This is not the case at this restaurant. The staff is friendly and attentive and we have a great experience every time. They take cash or debit/credit cards. There is also an option if you pay with debit/credit where you can add the tip to the bill so you don't have to leave a cash tip if you don't carry cash on you. The atmosphere is great, they have a few TVs on the walls so you can watch TV while you eat. It is family friendly so you can bring your younger kids in with you. They do sell adult beverages. My husband generally gets a corona and I usually get a tropical margarita. I only eat either the tacos carne asada (steak) with corn tortillas, or their chipotle burrito. My husband loves their Colorado burrito. Its very spicy and he likes his hot peppers. My son either goes for the tacos carne asada with corn tortillas or shrimp fajitas. If you have a shellfish intolerance or allergy they do serve shellfish, but I have not had any issues with cross contamination and luckily not had an allergic reaction. My daughter usually goes for their chicken and white queso... I forget the actual name of it, forgive me. She loves it and orders it every time we come in. The prices are affordable and if you're on a tight budget you're paying about the same as you would for a meal at certain unnamed burger places... But with way more food, that tastes way better than the processed meat you get at a fast food burger joint, and with better ambiance than the local fastfood places. Its a great place for celebrations, get togethers, dates etc. I am not certain but I think they might do take out catering. I will ask and edit my post next time I go in to reflect a yes or no on that. My husband and I want to renew our vows and are actually wanting to order from them for our reception when we do our renewal of vows. You should definitely check them out! Try their chorizo con queso as a side to go with your tortilla chips. Its amazing! this place and glad to have found them. They're located in Plainfield Indiana and are not far from Five and Below. If you get a chance to come in and see them, do so. You won't be disappointed!"

"Great and Inexpensive. I may sound crazy, because some people say they don 't like this place very much, but to me, it 's some of the best cheap food I 've ever had.<br/ <br/ $3.99 Special!!! Let me say it again… $3.99 Special!!!<br/ <br/ It 's hard to get out of a fast food restaurant for that price and this stuff is made by hand with loving care by some of the best guys and gals from South of the border. Fresh salsa, great chips, flavorful ingredients and they 're service is lightning fast too. More times than not, the salsa is pretty spicy... that 's a good thing in my book. El Rodeo has got handling a busy lunch down to a science. The place starts getting packed shortly after 11 a.m. and it 's still full at 1 a.m. Even during the busiest rush, the service doesn 't suffer.<br/ <br/ Today was no different. I got there at 12:30 p.m. and the place was packed, but I still got seated right away at a nice little table close to the big screen TV. Watching TV isn 't why I came here, but catching ESPN in the early afternoon never hurt anyone.<br/ <br/ The look of the place has really changed in the last couple of years. They have all new murals painted on the walls of tough looking Mexican bull riders and their hot little Latin maidens. The place is just downright cool. And the outdoor seating… I didn 't even tell you about that. It 's huge, with wrought iron tables and colorful umbrellas. There 's so much foliage around that it feels like a tropical oasis.<br/ <br/ Enough of the environment… Let 's get to the food. I usually come on Wednesday 's or Thursday 's. This being a Wednesday, #5 was the lunch special. $3.99! I always go for the chicken, so the lunch came with a chicken taco, a chicken burrito, and a side of Spanish rice. The plates are always filled up and covered in creamy Mexican cheese. Awesome!<br/ <br/ Each table has a selection of hot sauces based on taste and they help accentuate the great flavors in the food. If you couldn 't tell by now, I 'm in love with this place and you might be too, if you give it a shot. I try to come here every week or so. I wouldn 't want to eat here more frequently than that, or I might get a little pudgy around the middle. (That 's a joke for those of you who know me; I 'm 'portly wide. ' <br/ <br/ Atmosphere: Nice, clean and relaxing even during the lunch rush.<br/ Service: Extraordinary... really. They need to sell their system of service to other restaurants. The servers are always friendly and they get your food out in a flash. That 's a huge plus if you 're trying to grab a fast lunch.<br/ Overall: Good, inexpensive food that tastes great and will fill you up.<br/ Special Note: I 've been eating here since before my kids were born. I love it and I 'm looking forward to many more years of belly filling experiences here. Enjoy!"
