"While on vacation, we stopped here as it was mentioned everywhere as a great restaurant. If we could go back and pick somewhere else, we would. Staff was friendly enough but didn’t seem to care one way or another if we were there. We got chips and queso as an appetizer and it was not particularly appetizing. They put some sort of seasoning blend on the chips which make them extremely salty and the queso was so thick it felt weird in your mouth. I got the chicken fried steak and a loaded baked potato but requested no bacon. The chicken fried steak was dry and had no flavor. The breading just crumbled right off the steak because it was so hard and crispy. The “loaded” baked potato which you pay $5 extra to have loaded came out with cheese only. I asked for no bacon, but still to have the butter, sour cream, and cheese. I had to ask the server to bring me sour cream for it. My husband ordered the brisket sandwich and also said it was cold and flavorless. For the amount of money, go somewhere else."
