"I ordered the Arnold Schwarzenegger, a quesadilla, and the starter chips and dips. I’d rate it a 3.5, but the meals were quite good overall. The service from Codi was excellent, and the timing was perfect. The only downside was the chip bowl; the chips could be better and there were a few broken pieces. However, the taste and portion size of the meals were impressive. So, I’m giving it 4 stars and would definitely recommend it. Like any restaurant, there are good and bad days, but today was a good one. Cheers to that!"

"We had lunch today and you will get freshly made chips and two types of sauce. All are very delicious! I ordered the chimichanga and it as absolutely amazing! Very delicious and delicious for the last bite! Our waiter was David and he was also Outstanding! You could never have a better waiter! Overall on a scale of 1-100 I would accept this restaurant in the 90s all for an incident. And this incident is... One of the Wait staff (NOT David) came from the toilet room and sniffed directly into his hands. We then saw him directly in the area where a fridge is, he opened it and got things that OHNE wash his hands. He was a stupid little guy, but I don't know what his name was. Personally, I would have fired him on site! Unlike this one edition, Jalapeno Tree is absolutely amazing!!! The food is something of the best you'll ever find!"

"Yummy! Love their food! Every time we go it is so good. Tons of flavor! Favorite is the chicken and beef fajitas and the mango margaritas! My only complaint is that the chili relleno only comes as a meal by itself. Not in a combo or able to add it on to a meal. The employees all say a lot of customers complain about that...so maybe the company should change that?"

"Well me and the hubby went to spend our 10 year anniversary weekend at one of our favorite restaurants without our kiddos (it’s been awhile we have 4) and I have to say it was one of the worst experiences we have ever had from the moment we walked in the door. We asked for a booth because the chairs hurt my back the lady told me it was gonna be 10-15 mins because all the tables was dirty I can see several staff sitting over by the bar area she walks off to where they are the manager walks up to us and seats us immediately at a booth. Takes a few min before waitress comes to take our drink order when she does she is not friendly nor happy and seems in rush. Then takes forever to bring drinks to us. We immediately knew what we wanted since we waited so long for the drinks but we also wanted Queso which wasn’t asked when she took our drink order. So we waited and waited and waited some more our queso finally comes out but comes out with our food but at this point. We have no chips we have no refills our food is out but I ordered fajitas but didn’t have tortillas so I asked if I could get tortillas with my fajitas since it’s suppose to go with it so I see her walk to where they are made and I can see her and the lady that makes the tortillas get into some type of argument I’m waiting another 5 min before I can eat my food get my tortillas finally my food taste like it has been sitting under a heat lamp it didn’t taste fresh at all so wind up not finishing any of it didn’t even touch the queso because it came out when the food did. Then had to pay the $10 for queso I didn’t even get to eat because they brought it out to late. Just a horrible experience especially for such a special occasion."

"We're here 05/28/2022! We sat right away! We waited 15 minutes before our drinks order and after a few times and another 10 minutes we finally have our chips and diving! We have the chips and dive about 5 minutes before our food. We understand that they are servants, but there is no excuse for our food that is cold and unusable! My granddaughter and I both have cold food! Our other granddaughter and grandchildren could not eat their food because it had a bad taste. I guess it's okay that the ranch she asked never came! The reason they have 2 stars is because the manager takes a few away from the food and tries to make it right. I didn't want to leave any criticism, but she pointed out that the chips and diving were on them, which I think is common anyway. Being under personnel is not an excuse for cold food. After waiting for drinks or chips and diving I can understand that but not cold food. Hopefully, they are able to fix these problems."

"The food is decent, but the service is terrible. They wait 15-20 minutes for a table, although the restaurant is empty. It will take an hour to get your food. Simple enquiries like ?queso instead of chili? or ?no tomatoes? confuse the staff. If you have more than one person, at least one of you will have cold food and brown guacamole (educated). You? drive the road to Hector, Jalisco on the square, or to Ochoa to drive in Athens or Malakoff."

"If you go to a restaurant and they have signs that they won't be open on Tuesday because they can't help anyone to work there, you won't be satisfied. We took place. Chips and hot sauce broout. Hot sauce tastes like tomato soup from a can, not hot on it, just tomato flavor. Wife ordered a taco soup that is an appetizer. It doesn't matter until food is brought out. Only 6 (including us) people throughout the restaurant and it takes an hour to get food on the table. I told the waitress that it was good that they weren't busy. You mention that the service had gone down to which it had agreed. My meal was okay, especially if you like warm instant tea. The wife's meal was terrible. Taco soup was full of liquid cheese, beef tacos had yesterday meat in them as in dry and hard as a heat lamp makes meat. She said the soup had an acidic smell. It's already awhile since we last visited this Jalapeño site and I'll say for the record, it's our last."

"The service was excellent, and the tables and restrooms were clean. The ambiance was pleasant as well. I ordered margaritas, but they had very little alcohol in them. As for the food, it didn't have much flavor for my taste, although I believe those who appreciate authentic Mexican cuisine might enjoy it more. Even if I had liked the food, I still think it would have been overpriced."

"I only had salsa and chips brought to the table before food arrived, and a bowl of white chicken chili. I really enjoyed the green dip. It had a good flavor. I felt like it probably had avocado and cilantro, which are two of my favorites. The chili was suppose to come with tortilla strips, which I didn’t realize until after I’d eaten it. But I did use some of the chips that came with the salsas. It was good. Not spicy at all, which I prefer. Grand children enjoyed the free ice cream. I didn’t get her name, but we had a wonderful server. We had a large party and she did awesome. I’d return again. They had a large menu to choose from."
