"Update 12/2022: What a disappointment! This restaurant is now on the list of places to avoid on GoogleMaps. There are many other rib places offering better quality at the same or lower price. Despite the friendly waitstaff, the spare ribs were a letdown as they were not served as a rack, but pre-cut, reheated, and ended up dry, tough, and overcooked. The unexpected 3% surcharge on credit card payments for bills over $100 was also a sour note. They should inform customers about this additional charge so we can make informed decisions about our spending. Maybe they should consider just adding 3% to all menu items or only accepting cash. This place has lost its charm. In 2014, it was a fun local rib joint where you could enjoy a casual meal without having to dress up. They even had a quirky tradition of cutting off patrons' ties and adding them to a wall of tie shame."

"the quality of meat was amazing, however, it was bland. the spare ribs were a little dry even though they were covered in sauce(old trick). I'd assumed sauce would come on the side since I wasn't asked if I wanted my meat dressed or not. it was a good cut of ribs, though. the brisket was cooked decently. I got some nice cuts with a good amount of fat. it also was covered in sauce. to add the sauce was too sweet for me. taste like it came out of a bottle. the baked beans taste like busch's baked beans, no peppers or meat in them. the potato salad tasted like reser's potato salad with the red/green peppers and sweet pickles. blah. the mac and cheese is the only side that tasted homemade and it was ok. I won't visit again."
