"The best Thai food i ever enjoyed. We discovered Thai Ginger by chance on a one night stopover in Seattle. The restaurant is nicely decorated but not overly fancy. I like the fact fact that you can see the chef’s at work as the kitchen and dining area is all the one. The food was ‘historic’. Our group had the chicken with orange sauce, New York steak with sticky rice and ginger scallops. At first the good sized portions looked like we wouldn’t be able to finish them but the excellent taste combined with the super ingredients resulted in every morsel being eaten. Friendly, fast service along with the food presented made this an experience I just had to report on Tripadvisor."

"I have got take out from this place many times, but never again. Today was the last day. Reasons, 1) I go to pick up my Ubereats order from the large table where everyone picks up their order (I have seen people pick up take out orders from the table so many times), and proceeded to pick up some sauces in a small paper bag kept on the table. The lady who takes the orders on the phone came running in from the Kitchen asking me what I was doing. I told her that I am picking up my order. Points at the small bag and asks me what it is. I showed her and told her I got some sauces. She snatches it and says it is not free and I cannot take it. I asked her how many I can take, and she gave me 3 (as I had ordered 3 dishes). Note to the owner I have picked up sauces before, and I was never told it is 'not free '. If you have started charging for sauces, have a board there so that your staff does not treat people like thieves! 2) Then the lady turns her face and starts mumbling something in another language which I did not understand. I asked her what she is talking about and she mentioned Oh, even at McDonalds sauce is not free. If you want to charge me for sauce, fine I will happily pay. Just don 't act like I am robbing something from your restaurant. Service: Takeaway Meal type: Lunch"

"I had Cashew Chicken which was delicious. My friend ordered Garlic Orange Chicken, but was served just Orange Chicken. When she called the waitress over to explain the problem she said yes we don’t have Garlic Orange Chicken. My friend explained that they should have told her that rather than just serving her Orange Chicken. They didn’t seem to think it should be a big deal. I love this place and have never had that issue before. Several other friends has great dinners also."

"I had a Groupon to use. They Are not busy for Sit down in this Fri at 5:30 pm compared to other yrs I've been here. I ordered To Go Beed Phad Thai, 1 star and Massamun Chicken Curry that comes with rice. The Chicken was disappointing tasteless with no seasoning on it. The curry sauce lacked taste too. I've had Curries at 1 star when it was very good. The mystery Meat Beef was seasoned and a little better but not delicious. After sitting here for half hr, they did not offer me Water or anything . They were not busy with dine in customers too and was chit chatting taking a break. Most Thai restaurants bend over backwards. Maybe since I was a Groupon Customer they treated me differently and did not care. They also have bery limited hours. I called last might at 8:20 pm to ck if they will stay open til 9 pm, their standard closing hr. They said they will close st 8:30 pm, So I had no time to get there to order in person. The owner was very friendly saying bye to another customer who came to pick up his order. Aldo for any amt under $10, when zi paid my balance for taxes, they won't accept credit cards. So. Bring CASH just in case. I had a $20 in my wallet good thing. There is no sign posted up front like other Asian restaurants do on their Credit Card Policy. They are nickel and diming. Anyways the other Time, I came with my friend to use a Groupon my Curry was better."

"I have to admit that this place was my guilty late night pleasure when I lived in the U District. Quick, cheap and consistent! I also have to admit that I always get the same thing here, chicken drunken noodles and a side of pad thai. So maybe it's not the most amazing version of pad thai, but the drunken noodles is definitely the reason I keep coming back. Firm noodles and a nice portion of chicken all tied together with lots of peppery goodness. It's enough to be considered two meals but I have no self control so I usually eat it in one sitting. The building itself isn't anything spectacular and you can tell that college students have eaten here for years by the wear and tear on the seats. Sometimes I'll bring the siblings here but most of the time I'll get takeout. A solid meal of good portions for less than $10. They have the challenge of eating a pound of pad thai. I've watched a few people attempt, but have never seen anyone finish. They also have a buffet during the day. Since it's on the Ave, the parking is nonexistent. But we don't really need a car in Seattle do we? The staff is average and the cook staff always wears those masks. No need to panic, you don't want to inhale peppers and spice all day."
