"We ordered the pancakes because they were advertised with mascarpone and Nutella, but our order arrived without the toppings. Initially, we thought we could make do with plain pancakes, but after eating half of them, we decided they were just bland and unexciting. To make matters worse, it took us nearly 25 minutes just to finish them.
The toppings we eventually received were quite good, and I thought about adding them for flavor—although I wasn’t sure they were enough to redeem the pancakes altogether. We ended up leaving before ordering a second drink or any more food due to the long waits for everything.
I don’t hold any ill will against the server; he was doing his best under the circumstances. However, it seems like there could be better support for the brunch staff, even if it’s just to help with drink preparations. We even had to approach what I thought was the manager for assistance, but it turned out he was another server. Both gentlemen were friendly, but the overall wait times and dining experience could definitely be improved."
