"For gluten-intolerant me, it’s fantastic to have a great restaurant to go to that the rest of the family (not gluten intolerant can also enjoy. I was delighted to get to share the fried calamari and various pastry desserts (profiteroles!!! that are normally a no-no for me. I recommend the shrimp lemon risotto and the pork risotto…both wonderful!! It was lovely to sit outdoors, and overall the food and experience was delightful. Our waiter was amazing, friendly and attentive, and offered great suggestions (as we tend to inquire! . However, for some inexplicable reason, the middle-aged female owner or manager was extremely rude to us upon arrival, as my son and girlfriend were running a few minutes late (hitting unexpected traffic from across town , and when they arrived and joined us about 5 minutes late, I could see her looking at them, sneering and gesturing “something.” It felt awkward, but seemed, when she came to the table next to us to ask how everything was, but turned away to deliberately snub us, she was passive-aggressively signaling some form of disapproval! Not sure why…we enjoyed our waiter and experience with him. My next trip may or may not include another visit here, as there are other fantastic gluten free options in town."
