"I 'm not usually one to be a Karen when it comes to businesses especially restaurants since I myself have worked many years in restaurants as a cook. However this afternoon I had an unreal experience ordering from Tokyo in Keene. My roommate and I ordered online to pick up from Tokyo Express, we usually get Koto in town but wanted to switch things up and give Tokyo a try since our power went out. I ordered a chicken tempura roll, white rice, and veggie spring rolls. In the instruction box we put that I had a seafood shellfish allergy. Once we got home: my roommate 's shrimp roll was packaged with mine, along with fish eggs IN my chicken tempura roll, and there was SHRIMP in the spring rolls (WHICH I HAD ALREADY BIT INTO . I called back right away explaining that we had requested no seafood because of my allergy. The woman on the phone sounded very confused as to why I was calling them back, and after explaining for quite a while I repeated I would like a chicken tempura roll with no seafood fish eggs, and veggie spring rolls with no seafood. After she repeated my order to me I once again had to clarify for her no seafood in any of the food please. Once I went to pick up my food I confirmed that there was no seafood in this batch, thanked her as she stared at me walking away. She then asked me if I was going to PAY FOR IT... so I said well I already did pay for this food, but there was seafood in all of my food. She stared at me a bit longer and waved her hand at me to just go . Safe to say that was my first and last experience eating at Tokyo, and wouldn 't recommend going there if you have any type of allergy. Because they don 't seem to care that they almost killed me, and tried to charge me twice for it :"
