"This is an update of my previous comments. I have grown to be a somewhat regular visitor at the Fountain View location, for its nearness to me. While the staff can at times be frustratingly quirky compared with other locations, they are good willed and they try. My current problem with this location is their kitchen. While Barnaby 's isn 't upscale or pretentious, the locations offer good, honest café food with generous serving sizes a definite plus!, so you can take home a little. That said, this Barnaby 's kitchen is not up to Barnaby 's standards. The burgers, which used to be really good, are only so so. And the kitchen has ruined Barnaby 's Dr. Gayle 's Meatloaf. It can be so good!! But here, it has become two small slices of dense, flavorless meat . Elsewhere, you get a really good sized serving of heavenly, fennel flavored, light, but very flavorful, meat loaf. But here, just small servings of everything on the plate. I hope Barnaby 's management can rescue this place. Even the salads somehow seem uninspired and not as fresh! Please bring this place up to its potential! This is heartbreaking."
