"The service and ambience here were excellent. The menu was very well rounded. We got filet mignon and royal red shrimp to share with salads, sautéed garlic mushrooms and baked potatoes. There were baskets of different types of bread and two types of butter. Truffles were provided at the end of the meal. It was a wonderful dining experience!"

"First time. Poor server, unknowledgeable of dim sum menu. Wanted crunchy noodles, whereas was told they weren’t on the dim sum menu. However, table next to us, enjoying a plate full of crunchy noodles. Next, we were told you were out of pork ribs on the dim sum menu. Following that, we were told the long rolls people had ordered off the dim sum menu were like Mexican churros and that our soup choice was not on the dim sum menu. Wrong again. Because two tables ordered soup and rolls, no sugar, and were dipping them in the soup, along with their dim sum choices. Finally, our first experience poor and perhaps had we had a more knowledgeable server we might have returned for lunch."

"I had dinner there with my family after receiving rave reviews of the restaurant. Our server was very nice, but marginally incompetent. He didn't know many details about the menu when asked for details. One of the starters was served without any of the 3 ingredients (olives with canned citrus and fried parsley - served without the fried parsley - not the waiter's fault). The waiter presented the special as an appetizer, but it was actually an appetizer. My main course (or should I say "starter") was served about 5 minutes after the rest of my table had already served their main courses. I was able to order another main course when it was clear that I had ordered an appetizer, but by then the rest of the table was done with the main course. The rest of the people at my table enjoyed the food and the beers were delicious, but overall my experience was not great."

"This is a take-out place, so the atmosphere is unimportant.We order from Montira Thai frequently and the food is always tasty. However, over the past few months, the prices have skyrocketed while the quality has degraded. When a dish says broccoli, one should expect flowerettes not merely sliced up stalks. Raising prices AND reducing quality is a double hit and unfair. I’m hoping someone at the restaurant reads this and reacts accordingly. The food is good. Don’t ruin a good thing."

"To start, my friend and I shared the Crab Rangoon and Gyoza appetizers, both of which were delicious. For my main course, I ordered Chicken Lo Mein, which I found to be just okay; it was a bit lacking in flavor. However, my friend's Chicken Pad Thai was fantastic! The portion sizes were generous, and it was great to have leftovers for the next day. Overall, I would rate the food as average, especially considering the variety of menu options available. Some dishes were better than others, but the large serving sizes and attentive service made up for any shortcomings in flavor. The waitstaff was friendly and efficient, ensuring that we had a swift dining experience despite the busy atmosphere. My friend also mentioned that the restaurant sends out coupons to locals in weekly ads, so it’s definitely worth checking out if you have one of those. We had a pleasant dining experience and I would be open to returning to explore more of their menu."

"Decided to check this place out since I had a $5 off coupon from GrubHub. They a 3 roll lunch combo for $16.50, and they offer quite a few rolls that you don't typically see on lunch combos.I went with the spicy tuna, negi hamachi, and crazy roll. It all tasted fairly fresh. Unfortunately the spicy tuna is really bland. The negi hamachi was by far the best of the 3.With so many great sushi places in the area, I don't think I'll order from this place again. But if you're able to get the $5 coupon I'd say it's worth checking out."

"Having a wonderful day with friends and needed some fast filling food.Called to place an order I place regularly, 3 orders of sweet potato sushi a homestyle (deep fried not soft) tofu, vegi fried rice scallion pancakes, and miso soup.The woman on the phone(who later claims to be the owner) bullied my partner. While ordering he called it the deep fried tofu . She said there was bo deep fried tofu on the menu. They went back and forth about git for a moment or two when I realized she knew what he was talking about. She simply refused to add it to the order until he called in homestyle tofu. When i finally got on the phone she took a slightly different tone as A fellow local business owner i know the importance of tone while speaking and i promptly let her know her tone and communication expectation were outlandishly unprofessional she proceeded to hang up on me. Food is usually incredible, but as a patron of this restaurant well over 10 years i 've never felt so disrespected, when all that needed to happen was a simple ok so 2 homestyle fried tofu."

"This was truly the worst restaurant experience. We had a reservation for 6:45pm, showed up at 6:44 to a line of 20 people outside of the restaurant. People were waiting for takeout and to be seated. We called to verify our reservation and was told they’d be seating us soon. We did not get seated until 7:20 and were sandwiches between two other tables, close enough to cough on one another. Nobody came over to us and as we looked around and saw only a few tables had any food we decided this was not the experience we had hoped for. We were not even offered water or a drink order. After 20 minutes sitting and looking at our menus we decided to walk out. Very disappointing and we will never go back. This restaurant cannot accommodate takeout orders and an over full restaurant. Terrible service, no ambience packed in Mike sardines….do not waste your time."

"The GM here needs either a vacation or to find a new line of work. Every job can be stressful, but this man is not meant for it. After waiting for 40 mins (quoted 20) we simply asked why another group of the same amount of people were sat before us even though they arrived after us. The hostess attempted to answer saying they were short staffed, people called out, etc. Then the manager came out and started screaming and becoming flustered with us. This led to a few choice words from him when all we did was ask about the wait… will not ever be retuning. If I were you, I’d skip the show and go to Kawa’s for better service and better food."

"Hidden Gem! This restaurant serves genuine dishes made with fresh seafood. It was quite crowded during our visit, which led to a slower service, but the staff was welcoming and the food was superb. The extensive menu made it a bit tough to choose, but the sushi was exceptional. Just a quick tip—be careful with the spicy selections. The noodle dishes were creative and included crunchy vegetables! Prices were fair. It’s a good idea to make a reservation. We’ll definitely be back!"

"I've been wanting to try this restaurant for some time, but the 3-star rating made me hesitant. However, since their nearby competitors aren’t on Grubhub, I decided to give it a shot! Please note that this review focuses solely on the food. Here’s what we ordered: Bento Box (Salmon Teriyaki, Chicken Teriyaki, and California Roll), Salmon Teriyaki with brown rice, Chicken Teriyaki, and a Shrimp Tempura Roll. Both the salmon and chicken were perfectly cooked—moist and full of flavor. The Shrimp Tempura Roll and California Roll were among the best I've had in a long time. As the saying goes, “Don’t knock it until you try it!” I'm giving this place a solid 4 stars! I may not have tasted all the fancy rolls that some people have complained about, but everything we had was spot on for my taste. I'll definitely dine in next time to provide an update on the service and atmosphere."

"My wife and I wanted a nice laid-back place to sit outside and enjoy a fun dinner. We ended up being very disappointed by the service. Our server took about 10-15 minutes to get to the table (which feels like an eternity when you are waiting to order beverages). They took our drink order and quickly returned with a cocktail and waters but the beer we ordered was delayed by a few minutes. Not a big deal, but then the night went south. We didn't see our server again for a very long time. We started to feel like our appetizer was a little delayed when food runners showed up with our entrees. No app in sight. We let them know and eventually the server brought our app. But we were halfway into the meal by that point. The food tasted fine. Nothing extraordinary but not bad. The nachos, I admit, were delicious. The mac and cheese we ordered was described to have bread crumbs but was missing that. Fortunately the server had it taken care of pretty quickly. We were never asked about having our drinks refilled. And after eating, we waited a long time for our check. It just seemed to take forever for everything. None of the problems by themselves would have been a big deal, but together it added up to a somewhat unpleasant experience. The server was nice and apologetic. They also comped us the appetizer which was nice. May have been an off night or maybe a new server, but I can't say I would recommend going on a Saturday night. Also, we did enjoy the outdoor seating area. It was a little tight, but the ambiance was nice."

"Lets start by saying it was literally degrees inside the restaurant. I felt extremely bad for the workers. The waitress said the air had been broken for a long time. That is completely unacceptable. I wish there was another way I could warn people. I was there with my young daughter and family for a special dinner. It was such an uncomfortable dinner. We kept having to leave to take my daughter outside to cool down...in the rain. The food was ok. This used to be my favorite restaurant. It was always a treat. The food has gone downhill. The service was GREAT! My server was CAMI. She was constantly refilling our drinks. Bringing us fresh drinks because our drinks were watered down because the ice was melting and was filling our waters so fast! She got our checks and boxes quickly after because she knew we were all sweltering! She was great! Our cook did screw up some of our meals. He gave me shrimp when I wanted mushroom. The fried rice wasn't cooked long enough. Our veggies weren't seasoned that well but our steak was seasoned great! Lastly, They got rid of the coupons and the nakama cards which is a total bummer. More reason that they have gone downhill. It was a nice perk of going so often"

"As someone from Asia, I have high standards when it comes to sushi and sashimi, so finding a place that meets my expectations can be challenging. After discovering this restaurant, I've made a point to visit it every two weeks. I've sampled a variety of dishes, including sushi, maki, rolls, and noodles, but the Chirashi stands out as the best of the best. It comes with a generous selection of fresh and plentiful fish toppings. Today, I ordered Chirashi, Regenbogenmaki, and a mixed dish through Uber Eats. The flavors are consistently delicious. I highly recommend trying the Chirashi at this restaurant!"

"I came to sushi express for the $20 (can't remember exact price) 3 roll sushi combo that comes with a side salad, miso soup, three 6 piece rolls, and soda. The sushi is very average for the three roll combo where I got the spicy crab, spicy tiny and spicy salmon. All the sushi had a similar orange inside with a deep fried part. I could not necessarily taste the fish quality as there was the crispy/fried taste. The miso soup, salad, and soda was decent. This place when I went was quite empty but great for a quick in and out meal for a good price"
