"I never thought there could be a bad pizza or bad donut. It 's more that it 's just not the BEST you 've ever had. And that 's the case with my experience at The Jelly Donut. I 've had this bookmarked on my list cuz of its high 4.5 star rating. I got my typical fave, glazed twist and an Apple fritter. I could taste the oil and fried ness of the donuts and personally that 's not my preferred taste when eating my donuts. I like a light yet thick fluffy doughnut. Later I tried the Apple fritter and again could taste the oil and fried batter. There wasn 't much cinnamon or apples inside. I did end up throwing the rest away because I had to cut my losses of calories vs enjoyment.From the wise words of my bf Was the juice worth the bite? And my answer unfortunately would be No, not worth it today. So sorry Jelly Donut."

"This restaurant pays great attention to detail. If they're unable to fulfill specific requests, they often include some complimentary treats. By the way, if you ask for maple bacon, they'll add it, and it's absolutely delicious! I no longer order from any other donut shop."
