"We had a group of 9 people and were celebrating 2 birthdays. Our party was placed in a very nice private room and from first entering the establishment until leaving the coat check we were treated with a top level service! Outstanding hospitality, ambience, and incredible food. We tried several appetizers, drinks, entrees, and desserts. Everything was amazing. Highly recommend for small gatherings or individual meals. The pork chop was outstanding! The shrimp cocktail was delicious. The twice baked potatoes as a side were wonderful. Go here and give this place your time. No regrets and will be going here definitely again!"

"Haven't been to Swingers in a while. Place seems to have gone downhill. There used to be white table linens for dinner with nice menus and dim lighting. We thought of it as a nice place to go for dinner, but this is not a top 10 place to go in B N any longer. Dated furniture, one page laminated floppy menus and bright lighting don't cut it for dinner service on a Saturday night. The food was decent, but I would not recommend this place for an upscale date. This is probably why the place was about 1/3 1/2 full for the evening."

"I had been wanting to visit Merryman’s for quite some time, and I finally decided to take my family with me. I'm really glad we did. The staff were friendly and took excellent care of us, and the food was outstanding. It was a bit on the pricey side, but absolutely worth it. I ordered the Guinness Short Rib Pot Pie, and the flavor was delightful from the first bite to the last. My husband had the cheesesteak and said it was great, while my son enjoyed the BBQ New York strip and found it fantastic. I also tried a seasonal margarita, which was both delicious and expertly crafted. The seating was somewhat tight, but we felt comfortable nonetheless. The building itself is unique and interesting. I highly recommend this place!"

"Would highly recommend for a group! We had a group of 18 for a special dinner. You do have to reserve in advance, no problem! They do text you when it gets closer to your reservation to confirm. Our waiter, Taylor, did excellent! He was by himself helping this big group. Took our food and drink orders and it was all served perfectly! The portions were big, and in my opinion, reasonably priced for what you get. They also had dinner specials. It was difficult to choose! I got the Salmon Ala Rosa and it was VERY good. All of us commented on our food and that it was very good. We also agreed that Taylor did an amazing job! He was patient with us : but no errors and kept on check in (even if he was the only male in the room ? We appreciated the accommodation for a big group. Thank you Taylor and chefs at Spezia for an amazing dinner experience!"

"Once we were seated, we waited about 20 minutes for the waitress—who turned out to be the hostess—to come over and take our drink orders. We then discovered that they were only offering a special Valentine's Day menu, so we selected our meals and placed our orders. After that, we waited an additional 30-45 minutes for our salads to arrive. The salads were mediocre and didn't taste like they had any Caesar dressing, but we were so hungry that we ate most of it anyway. Next, we waited another 30-45 minutes for our appetizers to come out. We had ordered sausage and peppers as well as risotto balls. The risotto balls eventually arrived, but they mistakenly also brought us cheesesteak egg rolls. We informed the staff about the mix-up and requested our sausage and peppers. After another lengthy wait of 30 minutes, our entrées finally arrived. During this wait, one staff member mentioned that our waitress had left and that there was only one person in the kitchen. It turned out the owner hadn’t adequately prepared for the evening. When our entrées arrived, we were somewhat satisfied; the salmon was quite good, although the potatoes were extremely dry, so I pushed those aside. My fiancé ordered the chicken San Remo and enjoyed it for the most part. However, we continued to wait for dessert for another 30 minutes—and we still hadn't received our sausage and pepper appetizer. During this time, we watched the manager offer a family their meal for free because they had been waiting for 2.5 hours without receiving their entrées. Frustrated, my fiancé walked to the front to ask for the check since we didn’t want to wait any longer. We thanked a few staff members who had stepped in to assist. Ultimately, we will never return to this restaurant again. It was a very disappointing experience."

"I don't normally post negative reviews, but my experience was decent at best. Not terrible, but not amazing. Excellent humus to start off with, and the location is gorgeous. Our server did a good job in general. I got the chicken curry, and it was decent. I heard good things and wanted to try it. Not something I would get again though unfortunately. Very, very mild in both spiciness and spice in general. I could excuse that, but our service in regards to the kitchen was poor. My curry came out looking like it had sat under the heat lamp too long, and was brought out well before my fiancee's barramundi. We ended up having to wait a full 10 minutes between getting my curry and her getting her meal, by which time my food was luke warm at best. Our server did her best, but there is only so much you can do when you have to remake an entire fish when everyone else's meals are sitting in the window. I was a server/bartender for years and I can sympathize with being in that position. Overall it was very disappointing compared to many of the meals I've had here before. This one fell well below the standard I've had at Bella Luna in the past. It will most likely be a while before we come back."

"Always goto a Corky's, if available, after a early morning round of golf. The food and service is great at all the locations. This location.... exceptional. "We had a reservation for 6:30PM and when we arrived we were directed to a table by one of the wait staff. Shortly after ordering our drinks, a grouchy staff member (we later found out was the manager) came over to our table and told us the table was reserved. We told him we were the reservation and then he proceeded to question us about what time our reservation was for, our names, etc. It was a very bizarre exchange and made us feel uncomfortable, like we had done something wrong. As we ordered our food, a couple came in and sat right next to us with their 2 large dogs. I am severely allergic to dogs, so my husband asked if our party could be moved. Our server said that they would move the dogs. When our food finally arrived the dogs were still there so my husband asked again if something could be done. The server then brought the manager over and he said they were service dogs so they wouldn’t move them. They let everyone who wanted to pet them, play with the dogs so I find it difficult to believe they were service dogs, but that aside, even the wait staff were touching them, which could contaminate food. We were eventually moved (we had to carry our food through the restaurant with a 6 month old baby, so it it’s not exactly a quick/easy task). My suggestion would be that if you are going to allow everyone who says they have a service dog into your restaurant, perhaps have a designated area or seat them outside on the patio, not directly outside the kitchen doors. It is unhygienic to have dog hair flying in your food and drinks, the potential of fleas, and some of us have allergies. It was very clear to me that the dogs were more important than my health."

"One of the best organic and vegetarian/vegan restaurants in LA! Not only is the menu diverse, but the presentation of the dishes is unique as well. You may find your meal served on a round plate, while your friend's dish could be on a square plate, with perhaps an oval side dish. Rectangular plates? Of course! Diamond-shaped? Absolutely, if you rotate the square at an angle. Dodecahedron? I'm not sure what that is. With so many creatively shaped dishes, you'll feel like you're back in elementary school learning about geometry! Yes, I did learn my shapes in fourth grade, I went to school in Florida."
