"The hostess was friendly but tried to put us at a small table across from the bar in a very high traffic area. Honestly it was very odd to see the table there in the first place, so we declined and they sat us in another location. The service was fine and the waitress friendly. The food was pretty good as it usually is, but $15 for creme brulee and one coffee was just too much. We will probably go back because it's close by, but it wasn't the best dining experience I've had."

"When I made the reservation at Pomodorino I made it through Open Table. NEVER AGAIN!!! We arrived before our reservation time and the restaurant had no record of our reservation made thru Open Table. I had my confirmation number but it didn't matter because they had no record of our reservation. The manager Bonnie was very apologetic about not having our reservation and said that this has happened before with Open Table reservations. The restaurant was packed but we were lucky that it was still early. She said she would accommodate us but unfortunately we had to sit at a table for and we were only people! Our appetizers came and a table for opened up and we were able to move to smaller table. I understand that the restaurant pays for your service and I hope that you don't collect anything from them. This was a very upsetting experience for us and because of this will never use Open Table again. We enjoyed the restaurant and would recommend Pomodorino"

"Great little family run restaurant and will visit again. The bread was really good. Spinach salad was good but way too much dressing and the dressing had a bit of sweetness I could have done without. The penne alla vodka was a huge hit with everyone and we substituted the chicken for mushrooms. The cheese ravioli was ok. The marinara wasn’t as seasoned as we would have liked to cut the richness of the cheese pasta. The sea bass fish of the day was cooked well, but it was drenched in balsamic sauce that was a bit too sweet. But I tend to eat healthier (less sugar) than average American. Next time will be sure to order with sauces on side for entree proteins and salads. Overall, great experience and happy this is in our neighborhood."

"This place is near one of our favorite date night restaurants so we have thought about trying it for some time. Today happened to be the day. I really don't want to say anything bad about it. But it started off for us with a creepy vibe from the guy at the podium when we walked in. After being seated, we looked over the menu. Brace yourself the prices are higher than you would expect. We made our selections and when the plates came out I was amused at the portion. For the price I expected ala carte servings. We found the food quality to be..neutral. We got out of there just under $100. Much more than anticipated. The wait staff were friendly. The bread basket and olive oil was good. Hard pass on the rice balls $3.25 each. That said, it certainly isn't the worst dining experience we have had. We enjoyed being out together so that was nice. I don't think we'll hurry back."

"on this lively December night we had a wonderful experience. it seems that there is a new manager at this place in west chester and he was at the top of the dinge. the Artichoke Attizer is not to miss and is enough to share if they like the person they are with! we both enjoyed our entree’s (bolognese for my date and veal saltimbocca for me.) the service was a bit slow, but it was a busy evening so it is futile. the noise level is the only thing a bit crazy people enjoy themselves and there is a lot of hard surfaces so it gets quite loud. this is one of our favorite BYOB's in west chester borough."

"The fixed menu was disappointing. While there were options available, everything felt like it had been prepared in bulk. The octopus was tough, the spezzatini lacked sauce and was dry, and the seafood salad was underdressed. For my main course, I had the bronzino, which tasted like it had been cooked hours before. The total bill came to about $800 with the tip for four adults and four children. Given that amount, we could have dined at Daniel in the city rather than Side Plaza."

"We made a reservation but the hostess wasn’t very friendly. Middle aged woman was gruff when we asked for a table outside. She told us we could only sit there for 45 minutes cause of other reservations. I told her we had reservations. She was rude. I’ve been coming to Bavaros since they opened. I live Dan and his success. We seemed rushed the entire night. Pizza was mediocre. We will be back cause we love Dan and the location and we support locals."

"I visited Core de Roma with my sister yesterday for a nice italian dinner. It wasn 't our first choice but was close and had reservations available. The restaurant is at the top of a hill and there is a parking lot but you will have to walk up the hill, which is fine it can be steep though. Immediately upon entering there was a couple ahead of us which was greeted by the hostess, an older blonde woman. As we waited for her to finish speaking with them another group of people came in behind us about 7 people or so. The problem lies in the fact that the hostess finished speaking with the couple ahead of us (naturally) but then completely ignored us and started speaking to the party of 7, as if we were not standing right there. We were the only 2 black patrons in the building, which again is fine, but the fact that she ignored us and spoke to them first rubbed us both the wrong way. We decided to not make a big deal of it and just have our dinner. Bruschetta was good, but the bread they serve it on is they same bread they give you for free. My entree, chicken marsala was okay. I got it with the vegetable and potatoes which was just string beans, cut in half and potatoes cut in half. They also charge a fee if you use your credit/debit card. Which is weird. I know there are places that provide a cash discount however charging me to use my debit card seems frivolous. I won 't return."

"The service was really great. We were greeted right away, our server was prompt, very friendly and helpful in drink selection. We were killing time until an appointment and told our server that we might have to leave quickly depending on the kitchen time. We put an order in for an appetizer. She was kind enough to bring our app to go in case we had to leave. Our drinks were really good, there's a great selection, we loved the outdoor seating, it was a fun atmosphere. But the food... The menu described the crab fries we ordered as lump crab meat over fries. There were 3 small lumps. Like I'm not even kidding. The sauce was runny and didn't have much flavor. Super disappointed."

"We went to dinner while in town for our daughters graduation from veterinary school. The food was amazing we all had to take doggy bags home. "I received wonderful news from my doctor and wanted to celebrate. I had lasagna on my mind and a specific way I wanted it prepared. As I strolled along, I asked each restaurant I passed about their lasagna. When I spoke to the woman at Colosseo, she used all the right terms. I was not disappointed. The salad was beautifully presented, and the lasagna had one of the best sauces I've ever tasted. I definitely plan to eat there again. As for the price, yes, it was on the pricier side, but I felt it was worth it for such a fantastic meal. The food was delicious, the presentation was top-notch, and the portion size was perfect for me. I got everything I wanted for my money. I've dined at many restaurants in San Francisco, and for Italian cuisine, this is my favorite."

"We were greeted by a very pleasant young woman and seated promptly. It was a weeknight, so it wasn't very crowded. The woman who took our order was friendly and efficient, although we were sorry we never saw her again until she briefly stopped by two-thirds of the way through our main course, and then to bring the check/ask about dessert. We had to flag someone down to ask for more bread, and then again for butter. Although my husband's appetizer plate was cleared away, mine wasn't. The red pepper soup and the artichoke appetizer were very good, as was the Branzino. All were specials. The fluke special was prepared beautifully with a very good sauce; unfortunately, the fish itself was very dry. We will definitely revisit Marzano because for the most part the food was quite good; the only negative was the lack of attention to detail in service."

This place is tiny with a BIG ITALIANPUNCH ???????????? to the taste buds so GO!!!! don 't be scared because it look tiny they have a bar plenty of area fordinning.....I was told to definitely make reservations on the weekend....The entire staff was friendly the food is OMG ????DELICIOUS ???? we 'll definitely be going back."

"Next, the pasta was perfect—not overly rich and definitely not bland. I ordered the chicken Alfredo, and it was delightful. As a bonus, we tried the hard Italian lemonade, and it was a game changer. "My family has been frequenting Pastina for 30 years now. We used to live in the neighborhood and would visit at least once a week. Even though we now live further away, Pastina is still a go-to spot for our family. It has become a staple for us, whether dining in or getting takeout. It's also a favorite of our parents, who are from New York and appreciate good Italian food. The food at Pastina is always delicious, especially the chicken parmesan, penne alla vodka, and chicken cacciatore. And don't get me started on the bread - it's amazing! "We made a family trip. I ordered the chicken parm and my friend ordered the Ravioli Aragosta. The service was minus, as we waited for more than 50 minutes between salads and ducks and the food was mixed. My chicken parm was very salty and I couldn't finish it alone, even half of it eating. I think it could be due to this one night that they simply made it too salty because other times my family visit them love the chicken parm and it is not too salty. The Ravioli Aragosta was delicious and if I ever come back, I will have this dish instead as I enjoyed the sauce. The coffees are big and worth the Buck and the cheesecakes are not too bad. I would probably not get the chocolate cheese cake next time, as the size was great and the taste was good. Instead, I can try the Cannoli with a cappuccino. My girlfriend got the oreo cheesecake and it was decent, but wished there were more ores mixed in the cheesecake. I would recommend tasting another dessert than the cheese cake and combining it with a dripping coffee or espresso that they offer."
