"This was one of the most horrible experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant establishment. First off, the appetizers we had were completely fine and there was nothing off about them at all they were actually quite good. However, when my boyfriends meal came out it, it was visible that the chicken was very undercooked. It was rubbery and pink, but that isn’t the worst part.. he went to take another bite and what does he find? A chunk of sharp plastic in his food and yes, when I say chunk I mean CHUNK.. He nearly cut his gum when he bit into it. We obviously rose a concern about this, and they took his meal off from the bill expectedly BUT proceeded to STILL hand us a bill for $70 after what we just experienced. I completely understand that it is a business and it’s to make money, and I have no doubt the staff works hard but there was absolutely no way as customers we were expected to pay for our full dinner. With all due respect, I brought this to the attention of the manager and explained how my boyfriend almost injured himself trying to eat his food and how I believed it would be the right thing for them to take accountability for this particular situation. To this, she responded sarcastically with “well would you like me to pay for the dentist bill too?” EXCUSE ME?! Why kind of a manager talks that way to their customers! Regardless of the situation, that was absolutely horrible and rude especially coming from someone who is supposed to respect and care for every customer who gives them business. We still planned on leaving a tip for our server, we knew this wasn’t his fault but because this entire ordeal happened she practically kicked us out and we did not know where our server was so we just decided to leave. I am writing this review to warn others before you decide to dine at this restaurant, it was an absolute nightmare."

"wow! I and my friend came to my birthday dinner here and what a great experience it was! we usually don't like to eat in the south beach, but that was such a great sound! our waiter diego was amazing. the ambiente was perfect for an intimate dinner. that was delicious. the appetizer was great, especially the garnelen it was delicious. our pastas made in the house were amazing and the presentation of spaghetti made in a Parmesan cheese wheel is awesome to see! we ordered tiramisu to dessert and they put a candle for my birthday which was very nice of them. the owner also stopped at our table to say hello and ask how our meal was, what he was also very personal and I can see that he takes care of his restaurant a lot. he stopped at the table and talked to us, showed us the kind of family restaurant that is. this is a very cozy place and I cannot wait to come back and try other pastas and other items on the menu. definitely recommend!"

"Tessara is truly one of my favorite spots for Italian cuisine. As soon as I step into the restaurant, I'm always struck by the beautiful hand-carved wood that adorns the dining areas and bar. The soothing Italian music adds to the inviting atmosphere. The waitstaff consistently impress me with their friendliness, knowledge, and cheerful demeanor. The food is exceptional, largely because everything is made fresh upon ordering—nothing is ever frozen like in some other places. The handmade pasta elevates every dish. Whether I choose pasta, chicken, steak, veal, or seafood, I'm always delighted with the flavors. I have so many favorite dishes that it’s hard to pick just one, but I highly recommend the stuffed flounder or the pasta Siciliana. Overall, if you’re seeking a restaurant with a warm ambiance, great cocktails, and fantastic food, you must give Tessara a try."
