"I visited Pittsburgh for a two-night stay, mainly to catch the Penguins play against the Blue Jackets, and to enjoy a little road trip. I did my research to find a great Italian pizza spot that could rival my favorites in Toronto, but I was uncertain about the options in Pittsburgh. Upon entering this restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised to see an authentic Italian pizza oven. I decided to order a Margherita pizza, which I believe is the best way to judge the quality of a pizza. Out of all the pizza places I tried during my stay, this one was by far the best. However, when compared to some of the places I’ve been to in Toronto and Italy, it still has some room for improvement. I appreciated the use of double zero flour; after eating the pizza, I didn’t feel overly stuffed. Both the hostess and waitress were attentive and helpful. If I find myself in Pittsburgh again and I'm not in the mood for a dive pizza, I would definitely return to this spot."
