"Overall, my experience at this Bay Area restaurant was one of the worst I’ve ever had. If I could give it a rating lower than one star, I absolutely would! I placed an order through DoorDash and was shocked to discover that we had to pay extra for sambhar with each order of Dosa, Idli, and Medhu Vada. These are traditional South Indian dishes that typically come with sambhar included. We ended up spending an additional $30 just for sambhar on 10 sides. Furthermore, we ordered two extra potato masalas for the dosa, but only received one. The entire order was a mess. While the prices for the food ranged from $15 to $18, which seemed acceptable, the restaurant only offered pickup and delivery while charging fine dining prices for half the items in each dish. Our total for five people came to $200, and we didn’t receive half of what we ordered. The quality of the food was disappointing, with very little flavor and overly dry dishes. The sambhar that did arrive was watery and tasteless. Additionally, the dosa had yellow stains that wouldn’t wash off, which made me suspicious that food coloring was used. The only highlight was the vada, which was decent. The customer service was lacking as well; we had no way to contact the restaurant to address our complaints about the order. It’s no surprise that this restaurant has such poor ratings on Google, and the reviews on DoorDash seem questionable. I would not recommend this place at all—consider yourself warned!"
