"I’m not a write-a-review type of person but I feel like this needs shared. Day after Christmas, party of 6 visit for a nice quiet dinner. Very small menu which is cool…I appreciate the simplicity. One fish/seafood option…salmon. All 6 of us order, one of which is vegan so obviously this person orders the salmon. We get drinks while dinner is being prepared. 15 min after we order, the defeated server walks up to the table to tell us they are out of salmon. Ouch. Either the server forgot or the kitchen didn’t tell the service staff and/or the kitchen staff didn’t realize they were out of salmon until it was ordered. Either way…poor kitchen management. With that said…we’d go back I think. We paid our drink tab and frantically found another restaurant to eat…which wasn’t awesome either but it was food (and had to duck and dive bullets to get to the restaurant). What a special night in DC."
