"When I first heard about the restaurant, I was impressed by the ambiance and the menu. I was also interested in pursuing a management position there. However, my initial positive impression quickly soured after my interaction with the owner. What started as a seemingly friendly conversation turned into an uncomfortable situation when he attempted to lure me in with a job opportunity. While I was flattered at first, it soon became clear that this was a tactic to exploit me as a woman. The owner would call me late at night to discuss the company and my potential role, yet there were no follow-ups that indicated a genuine interest in hiring me. As time went on, his calls became increasingly late, and despite my clear communication that I needed to know if he was ready for me to start so I could explore other opportunities, he insisted I could quit my current job. It became apparent that his intentions were far from professional. The situation escalated as he began to call me in the early hours (around midnight and 1 a.m.) to vent about his personal issues, which made me deeply uncomfortable. After I confronted him about this behavior, he stopped returning my calls and has since gone silent. This behavior was not only disrespectful but also highlighted a troubling disregard for my qualifications and my comfort, revealing a pattern of exploitation based on his position of power. This experience was not just unprofessional; it was unethical. No one should have to endure such behavior, especially in a place that is supposed to embody hospitality and a welcoming environment. It’s disheartening to think that the individual leading this establishment could engage in such manipulative and predatory conduct. I strongly advise anyone considering dining at this restaurant to reconsider. Supporting a business led by such an individual only condones their unethical behavior. Given the organization’s claimed “faith-based” ethos, one would expect higher standards of conduct. I hope my review serves as a caution to potential patrons and encourages the owner to reflect on their actions and make necessary changes. We all deserve to work and dine in environments that prioritize respect, professionalism, and integrity. Unfortunately, this restaurant and its owner fall woefully short of those expectations."

"Today I was told that I am not welcomed inside of this location, the owner has been upset with me every since I called in a order 1 time almost 2 years ago. I got there and they were extremely busy, but I had something important to do so I told them to cancel the order and left. The owner called my phone telling that I’m dining and dashing. But I did not take the food I told the cashier to cancel it I had to leave.. she was so rude. I took a brake from going for about 6 months. Then started going back never really had any major problems. Until lately, They changed the amount of peanut butter they put on the bowls even though prices went up. They get upset every time I specify how I want my bowl made or bagel.. Sometimes the items are inconsistent depending who is making it. If I am spending my money I should be able to get my food the way I like it. Ive been supporting this business for over 3 years at least 4 times a week. I spend $18 or more each time and TIP. I refer so many people and speak good about this business. It shouldn’t be so hard to make sure my items correct. And I have never made and employee cry I’m not a disrespectful person at all,it’s not that serious . The owner is lying in her response I don’t know what kind of kid games are going on. Thank you all for making me know my money isnt appreciated, I will not be back I promise. Happy new year"
