The Drunken Chicken was delicious, boasting great flavor and plenty of tender chicken, along with just the right amount of heat.
The red beans and sausage were also quite tasty. At first, I thought there was a bit too little sausage, but I soon discovered smaller pieces mixed in with the beans. A touch more spice would have been nice, but they offer a huge selection of hot sauces to customize your meal.
My girlfriend opted for the chili cheese etouffee with crayfish, and she couldn't stop raving about it. I took a small taste and really enjoyed it, even though I'm not typically a fan of crayfish.
I had a nice chat with the gentleman who took our order while I went up to grab more bread. My only minor quibble is that you only receive two pieces of bread, but extra pieces are inexpensive, and he generously gave me two more. He mentioned that they were planning to open a Yats in Louisville (my hometown), and I truly hope that's the case. I will definitely be back to Yats!
To sum it up, you should definitely EAT AT YATS!!! You won't regret it. Unless, like me, you live in an area where there's no convenient location. Yats owners, if you're reading this, PLEASE OPEN A LOCATION IN LOUISVILLE SOON!"
