"Our first time eating at Yuzu Kitchen. There are a few tables up front near the entrance and a long row of tables inside across from the bar. We all decide to try their Ramen. I forgot to take an photos. I had the Sukiyaki Ramen. It had a very tasty beef flavor with vegetable and mushrooms. I liked it a lot. My daughter had the Yuzu's Shio. It was pork in a slightly spicy broth which tasted like Sriracha. Ok flavor if you like things a bit spicy. My wife had the Shoyu Tare. It had pork with a somewhat milder broth. Not bad but not as good as mine tasted. We also tried one of their stir fry dishes. We got the mixed protein with the Yuzu Special sauce. All of the meats and shrimp were very tender. The sauce was slightly sweet and sticky and very enjoyable. We had a pot of the Jasmine tea which was also very tasty with a lightly sweet floral flavor. After dinner we tried a flight of Japanese whisky. They make the choices for you from a variety of styles and price ranges. A bit expensive $35 for 3 one-ounce tasters, but individual pours would have been even more expensive. Not quite the great experience I was hoping for but still enjoyable none the less. The biggest turn off of the whole meal wasn't the food nor the service, which were both good, but the ambiance. From the time we stepped into the restaurant until we left, they had Rap and Hip Hop playing over the speaker system. It was a little distracting and not the kind of music I would have expected from a nice Japanese restaurant. I'd go back again to try some different styles of stir fry or Ramen. Overall we had a good meal and enjoyed the experience."

"Wanted to try somewhere new and had seen good reviews however everything was disappointing. The Thai tea was way to sweet. The wonton soup had too much salt which was the only flavor that came through. The coconut soup was bland and so was the Thai spicy seafood, though it did have plenty of seafood which was a plus. We were told the Thai rolls were in rice paper, however they were deep fried and thin pencil sticks with no taste. The Pad See Ew had barely any vegetables and no flavor. We also ordered the Pataya Thai Entree which came with rice. Decent spice and amount of vegetables, just kinda boring. Service OK..new person in training trying their best. With so many places to try, no need to come back to very mediocre food. "I’ve had sashimi in many places around the world, including NYC, Japan, and Korea, and I can say that the sashimi at Wasabi 3, a charming local restaurant near Longwood Gardens, was among the best I've ever had. The fish was cut generously and was so fresh that it practically melted in my mouth. Plus, the sashimi was accompanied by real shiso leaves, not the plastic substitutes you find at most sushi bars. The service was excellent, and the special sushi roll was absolutely amazing. I just wish I lived closer than three hours away!"

"Absurdly delicious Japanese food. Last night I made the very wise decision to order takeout from this restaurant for the first time, and let me tell you, eating this food felt... transcendent. Like as I chewed my soul left my body and began dancing in the space between stars in a warm and welcoming universe. The chicken katsu and sushi (yellowtail/jalepeño crab/mango/cheese) were perfectly executed versions of dishes that are very familiar to me. The onigiri rice ball (I tried the seaweed salad flavor) and takoyaki octopus balls were completely new for me and are now hovering comfortably near the top of my personal all time best dish list. I'm new to Philly and am working on eating my way across the city — so far Bubblefish is tied for first place as my favorite! It's going to be harder to try as many new places, now that I know these delicious balls are so easily within reach. Compliments to the chef! Update: My guy and I have ordered Bubblefish as least 2 more times since my initial review. Last time I made a pair of onigiri the main course of my meal. The spicy kani salad and seaweed flavors are the current front runners and their sauces are a must-try. They make the best spicy Mayo and a killer honey wasabi."

"The staff here was VERY rude. I reserved a table for 2 around 45 minutes before our arrival time. I could sense some amount of rudeness while reserving the table, but decided to give it a shot anyway.When we reached, we had asked for a different table than what we were offered, and the response we got was “Take it or leave it”. We were shocked. We had valid reasons for our request.a. There were insects on the table we were offered.b. It was right next to the restroomc. The “meat cutting” room was literally next to us (no doubt there were insects on our table!)It was not about the fact that we were not offered the table of our choice, it was how the server reacted to us. After looking at the shock on our face, she did offer us a different table, but even after that, it wasn’t a pleasant experience overall.Food was average overall, but given the experience we had, I wouldn’t recommend this place."

"We haven't sampled their dinner menu, but the lunch offerings are impressive, both in variety and quality. The portions are generous, and you won't find better value in the area. The service is friendly and efficient. This is definitely one of our favorite spots for lunch. Their sushi is outstanding, and we also tried the beef Chow Fun, which surpassed everything we've had at other Chinese restaurants. We’ll definitely be back!"

"We dined recently at Vernick Food Drink at the recommendation of a collegue who recommended the 'toast ' section of their menu. The upstairs, where we were seated, was very busy and quite noisy. But the vibe was upbeat and fun. After getting drinks squared away, we decided to order a couple of the shareable dishes (there were two of us) and then see how we felt. But, our server, a nice young woman, seemed to be very deadset in having us order a very expensive entree which we honestly didn 't really have an interest in ordering. It almost got to the point where we felt like she was giving us an ultimatum. The fresh oysters were delicious as was the tomato toast and the crab toast. We loved the special crudo and the mussels. The food is extraordinary. I just wish the service had been a little more accommodating. For a $250 check for two people, I should hope that the server would not try to force us to order in a way that we didn 't feel comfortable."

"(2020 kc) restaurant week review} the webster house was our first lunch break for kcrw! everything was wonderful as always. first cure: {cream of mushroom soup walnuts chive oil} very rich and earthy if they like mushrooms, they will enjoy it. {fried brussels sprouts pecorino romano, crater, senf aioli} loved the combo of brussel with mustard...we ate the whole plate! Second cure: {manzo e polenta braised rindmeat, mushroom, squash, tomaten, herbed polnta, grana padano, arugula}e my favorite entre! the meat was so tasteful, polnta perfectly cooked, and they know how to cook mushrooms! {coq au vin red wine brat free row chicken dog behind quarters, speck lardons, haricot vert, picked kartoffels, beurre rouge} still a very good escape! my man shaved over the taste of the chicken skin and the flesh was so tender that it fell directly from the bones. original review (juli 2019 webster house is a phenomenal restaurant that doesn't seem to know many people! the location is beautiful and is technically a restored school (not a house! with a rich history and magnificent view of the city. eating is something of the best I've ever tried. their menu often changes seasonal, but the quality is always consistent and on point. service has always been exceptional. it's a great date night place!"

"I would like to say that I enjoyed the express to this day. we were the first customers when they opened their doors. then she sold it and said we would give the new owner an attempt to eat until this point, and the portions were great. I put my order my food came we are open crates and to my surprise our portions were apparently cut in half and barely enough to feed a person. then I fell into a chicken wing and it was so anointed at this point that I had it and made a call to fens. I asked the girl about the portion sizes and explained that my chicken wings were so salty that she told me that I ordered the wrong wings, I ordered oyster seed wings and apparently I would have ordered sticky wings that I did not have a deviation. the girl said, "I order her the next time that I should ask for sticky wings," she did not suggest to replace her at all. So I paid for wings that were unbeatable. then I asked again about the portion size that she raised for a moment in which I asked her if my eating went her answer was all went up, the menu states can be changed without notice. at this point I had it! So I said okay and hang up. I will never order from fens express that they have done nothing to correct my thinking. So if they order from them, they should change their minds as they blow their money and still be hungry! fens im so dissapointed! and will publish this on all their review pages!"

Sadly, Top Spice failed miserably in this regard. Their customer service left a sour taste in my mouth, overshadowing any redeeming qualities they may have had.I highly discourage anyone from dining at Top Spice, especially if you value good customer service and quality food. The dry and tasteless pork coupled with the lack of effort to address the issue has left me deeply disappointed. There are plenty of other establishments in the area that offer better food and genuinely care about their customers' satisfaction.In conclusion, Top Spice's poor customer service and the lack of effort to rectify their mistakes make it a place I cannot recommend. "Nice little home in wall Asian takeout place. Extremely limited seating. They took Covid protocol to next level. It's like a bank teller counter. So far my favorite is their garlic chicken. Mentioned in at least one other review. So far I've tried egg drop (decent), bourbon chicken (good but meat only), cashew chicken (so so but I always think it's bland everywhere I try it), and Bangkok beef (so so). Nothing has been bad. Sushi was ok. But haven't tried it again. Will make this a place when in middle for Chinese and happen to be in the area. Last time I bought 3 meals. Easily made 4 large meals out of it."
