"Excellent dinner for our anniversary. We had the Spicy Mexican Roll and the Spicy Tuna Roll. Both were excellent. For dinner we split the Tempura Chicken, Steak Teriyaki and Combination Fried Rice. We wanted to try a little of a few things since it was our first time and we ended up taking quite a bit home. We definitely recommend this place. It was our first time there and we were very impressed"

"The food was good but was unfortunately overshadowed by the poor service. We were not greeted upon entry and had to wait 5 minutes until an employee told us to sit down... Another 20 minutes passed before being greeted by our server and receiving our water. Meanwhile we are watching patrons seated after us getting served before we even placed our order! 4 young black professionals looking for a great dining experience, let down at every corner. Overall I didn’t feel warm, I didn’t feel welcomed, and frankly will not be returning. I would leave 1 star but the food is good"

"I would advise against ordering the king crab rolls, as the crab was of poor quality and definitely not fresh. It was mixed with a lot of crunchy bits and mayo, which was disappointing for $18. While the service here is excellent, the food quality leaves much to be desired."

"The sushi is decent and the price is good. They have a good atmosphere inside the restaurant and the staff are friendly. Their all you can eat menu is pretty diverse as well. So why the low rating? During covid times, it's good to be on top of your togo order game. Sushi Masa has a policy in place where they are supposed to confirm all the order is out of the kitchen, then staple the togo bag shut. This is as much for convenience to the customer as it is a visual indicator that the order is complete to the staff. This is a good policy- if it is followed. Over the past year, I have had to check my order when I get to the car because I have had a $14 roll be missing 3 times. Even with the bag stapled and visually completed... Tonight, it was a Tuesday. Not very busy. Not much of an excuse. On top of that, they can't follow simple instructions for leaving out an ingredient. Ever. I'm done. Time to find another place."

"It was my birthday and I arrived in black accessorized in gold with my husband. I had the Spicy Tuna Roll as my appetizer while he had the Seaweed salad, absolutely delicious!! Following that, I had my entree of their infamous Pad Thai with Shrimp while drinking on some Merlot and my husband had the Grilled Chicken entree with white rice along with 2 sauces of Cilantro and Teriyaki while drinking Pinot Noir. The ambience is beautiful with soft neon lighting and the staff was very warm and inviting. Before receiving our bill, they brought out their tasteful funnel cake with dipping sauce in celebration of my birthday. I definitely recommend this restaurant for a beautiful night in the downtown district of Ft Lauderdale, FL!"

"In summary, this pad Thai has quickly become my favorite! It's incredibly flavorful, well-portioned, and the lunch special is fantastic. It even includes a choice of soup or salad; I opted for the ginger salad, which was outstanding! The dressing was excellent, which is a pleasant surprise. Another plus is that the restaurant is located in a plaza full of options, and my food arrived hot and quickly—no long waits! Compared to other pad Thai I've had recently, this place is a cut above the rest. I can't wait to visit again. As much as I tell myself to explore other items on the menu, I may just stick with the pad Thai because it was that delicious!"

"WOW! Tomo Japanese restaurant has a very laid back and peaceful atmosphere and beautiful decor. The Bugolgi, miso soup and salad were on point. The bugolgi had good flavor and was not chewy. The vegetables were also delicious and could be eaten by themselves. The White rice was fluffy and soft. We also ordered the children?s chicken teriyaki and it was a hit for both kids. They truly enjoyed the flavor and how soft the chicken was compared to other places we?ve been to. The red dragon roll was perfect and smooth. The gentleman that was serving us was very kind and had great customer service! 5 ???s for sure!"

"Solid lunch spot VERY fast delivery within the Williamsburg area. Ordered the 15 piece sashimi and a spicy salmon hand roll for lunch. Both items had a nice portion of fish and the hand roll definitely did not skip. The 15 piece sashimi included 4 pieces of fried tofu 1star for me as a sashimi platter IMO should be all fish, not tofu . Also, the two pieces of mackerel sashimi were VERY smelly, definitely not what you want. All in all, I will order from them again and update my review accordingly."

"This is the most disappointing restaurant experience I've ever had. The service was terrible, the food was unappetizing, and the prices were outrageously high. The plates were dirty, and the utensils didn’t seem to be washed. When I arrived around 2 PM, the lights were off, and we were left in the dark until someone turned them on. There was only one waiter in the entire restaurant. I ordered two entrées and a kani salad, which looked unappetizing and was poorly prepared—it didn't even seem properly shredded. It tasted like it came from someone’s kitchen, not a restaurant. The two entrées I ordered had an awful taste; they were so unappetizing that I forced myself to change my order. For two entrées, a kani salad, egg rolls, and dumplings, I paid a staggering $203, which included a $30 tip that the waiter added himself. How can such small portions cost so much? When I expressed my concerns to the chef, who was also the waiter, he dismissed my complaints and said they had been in business for 23 years, implying that customers have to pay regardless of their satisfaction. I strongly advise against visiting this establishment unless you want to feel robbed. I wish I could give it zero stars. Everything was terrible, from the taste of the sauce to the overall lack of freshness. Save your money and avoid this place."

"4 minute walk after our visit to Maritime Aquarium. It was spacious and not busy for a Friday afternoon. The kids bentos for the kids were awesome. 5 different varieties of foods. My son loved the chicken. It was not overly fried. For the price it wasn'tbad. The sushi was good. The rice for the sushi was not overwhelming. My husband had the shrimp lunch special which was okay,he didn't complain. Everyone was satisfied with their meals. The fried ice cream was soooo good. The fried banana that came withit.....was ???? The only downside is if you decide to bring a baby that requires diaper change.....you're not gonna find thechanging table in there. Already spoke with the staff. Hopefully they will find a solution to it. Overall I would definitely goback again. ?????????"

"This is now our favorite sushi spot, with a dimly lit lounge area and good music that enhances relaxation and flavor tasting. The waitstaff at this Long Island restaurant provides top-notch service. Even with my toddler in tow, we received professional and welcoming treatment. As a former bartender, I am impressed by the creativity and quality of their signature drinks. The hibachi section can be loud, so be prepared for a lively atmosphere. Despite the noise, the hibachi food is excellent, though not necessarily the best I've had. The entertainment at the hibachi tables is constant, as there are many tables turning over regularly."

"My family took me here for my birthday. We love the California Roll, Eel Roll and Spicy Tuna Rolls. The sushi is always fresh and delicious. However, the taste/ flavoring of the hot food seems to vary from time to time (depending on who the Chef is). My family enjoyed their Pad Thai on this occasion, it was wet with sauce and noodle texture was slightly Al Dente. Few month earlier when I ordered Pad Thai, it was drier (almost no sauce but still had lots of flavor and noodle was very soft (the way I like it). If you plan to order Pad Thai, I suggest describing how you like it (wet, dry, soft, etc) to avoid any disappointments. Also, they no longer offer soup or salad with evening entrees as they had in the past. In short, Go with Sushi."

Some customers might complain about their service and staff attitude, though i can say that the staff here are super nice people, however, because of their culture or tone of talking could be different from what we expect, so we think they are not as respectful, but thats not true. "The place is very nice, although people get confused with the main entrance. The menu is not huge but it's got a good amount of options. The pond in the center with the koy fish add a nice natural feel to it.The prices aren't bad and the service was great. It's a little dark in there however it adds a gentle atmosphere. Our meal was a little more spendy seeing we got the Chicken Teriyaki Bento box at $28. But a lot of other things were less spendy and looked quite good."
