"My wife and I were in town for a few days and found this place by searching Google. The reviews are spot on. Bottle of water was free, chips and salsa were fresh and delicious, and the Taco Party we ordered with 12 corn tacos with 4 different meats was excellent. These were like the street tacos we would have back in Texas. Perfectly authentic. Staff was very nice as well. Highly recommend this place."

"My wife and I visited for a date night on the advice of a friend. We both decided on trying the buffet in the evening. We enjoyed great tacos, Enchiladas, and the best caldo de res I've ever had! The horchata was on point, not to sweet and not to bland. For all the good that the food was, the service was the opposite. The young man serving us had no interest in answering questions about the menu, left the drinks empty the entire evening until I came over to find him, and I had to chase him down for the bill at the end of the night. The food was good enough that we are going to try this restaurant again, hopefully with better service."

"Had the shrimp civeche Wow. Awesome and fresh and with amazing flavor! An awesome pick me up midday just as is, with the crunch of a tostada, and occasional drip of Tapitio. Flippin delicious! I?ll try the fish next time, can?t imagine it bein anything but more delicious. As a doordash driver, I?ve frequented this location, yet never had it myself, I?ve been missing out and wasting money at other taquerias that pale in comparison. I?m all about this spot hidden on lone tree by Raley?s. A major keeper! Also sorry nothing in the pic, I ate it too soon before it?s photo op! Lol"

"I've been here 3 times. This place is consistent. Clean establishment, clean plates, cups, and silver ware. I get the taco salad W/chicken and coffee. The coffee is always fresh and good. The taco salad is always good. Most places will burn edges of the shell and try to serve it to you. Each time I've been here they do a great job! The servers are all friendly and knowledgeable. They share each other's work like in a fine dining restaurant. So, you end up with perhaps a current pertain taking your order or running out your food, and possible a third checking if you need anything. Lovington has a winner here. Total cost of food and coffee $10.95 (excluding tip)"

"I ordered the By the Pound chicken the grilled chicken is really really good its tender its juicy its not dry bursting with flavor and the tortillas are very fresh tender not dry they did not send me the Quesadilla with Chicken Adobado they left that one out I ordered the Refried Beans and all of their sauces are very very fresh and tasty and the Guacamole its very very good so this place deserves five stars even though they forgot my quesadilla its okay theyre definitely worth ordering and I will definitely order from them again"

"We had an outstanding experience with the authentic Mexican food here! We traveled 14 miles to dine at this restaurant, and it was worth every mile. Our waitress, Mady, was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the menu, readily answering all our questions. She checked in on us several times to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. Our food was made fresh to order and served hot. We will definitely come back the next time we are in town. This place did not disappoint; it's the genuine article. The environment was very clean and welcoming. Overall, it was simply wonderful!"

"If it were possible to give more than a five-star review, I definitely would! I called on Wednesday right at 11:00 AM when they opened and asked if they could prepare a taco bar for 10 people, along with sides, to be delivered by 12:15 PM. I wanted to treat my staff to a nice lunch on a particularly busy day. Initially, they informed me that they couldn't deliver until 1:00 PM, which wouldn’t work for us, so I declined and hung up. About five minutes later, they called back to let me know they could accommodate my order after all. The food arrived at 12 PM, and everything was fantastic! I can't thank you enough for making this wonderful lunch possible for my team!"

"We found this place online. The food was great. Huge portions and authentic Mexican. I'm not sure they speak English. We had Spanish speakers in our group. The employees couldn't have been nicer. They moved tables together for the ten of us. Very reasonable prices here- cheap even. My platter was 13 bucks and I could't finish it. The guac was as good as anywhere and was made to order- lumpy, not over mixwd into putty and seasoned perfectly. You aren't going here for the decor. They are not going sing happy birthday. In fact, if we weren't starving and had little ones with and been shut down everywhere else on a Saturday night in Jersey without reservations, I would have walked out when I saw the place. Consider this a hole in the wall with really good food for cheap. Know that going in and you're good. You'll need LOW expectations for the appearance. Not a date night place. It's a gut buster Mexican digs that leaves plenty of dough in pocket."

"We came here while enjoying the Day of the Dead festivities. The line was long, understandably, but we were able to peruse the menu at lengths before ordering. I got the tostada which was topped with a mound of lettuce with some Pan fried soy crumbles and avocado. When I asked for the soy option, they were prompted to ask whether I wanted cheese or sour cream, which I declined. Having vegan versions of cheese would have made this better, but I was happy enough. My partner had the pepian mole with a soy enchilada. Not sure if that sauce was Vegan (we didn't ask, but traditionally it should be), but it was off menu and still delicious."

"A solid four. Sometimes they disappoint, sometimes they absolutely leave you laid out from fullness because it was so damn good. I did get delivery for all of my orders so far, it?s been years since I?ve ate there in person but plan to very soon. With that being said I can?t speak to pricing but their menu is available online. Steak tostada was perfect, I asked for my veggies on the side (the lettuce will hold heat and moisture down making the fried tortilla soggy) they followed my request and the fried tortilla wasPERFECT. My husband had the chicken flatuas, he is Hispanic and he loved them. Order two: Birria Steak tostada Chicken tostada Chicken Flatuas Flan This time they didn?t separate the lettuce and other veggies from the tostadas andbecause of that the shell was SUPER soggy. I salvaged what I could but it wasn?t what I was craving. At this point I was super sad. Chicken Flatuas never arrived. So I was big upset but I was refunded for this item and we had more thanenough food. Because I ordered from a third party delivery app I cannot blame the restaurant. They also may have ran out, who knows. Either way at this point I was big sad. BIRRIA. I wasn?t too excited for it because of last time butlistennnnnnnnnnn this round was PHENOMENAL. Good god I ate ONE and it had me laid out. I still can?t get up I?m so full and satisfied. I added in some of the chihuahua cheese and red salsa and dipped it. Jesus lord take the wheel I don?tthink that taco could ever be recreated because I think Jesus himself walked into the kitchen and made that one special for me lol. Also, there is a review about 6 months before this one where the Birria looks super small and empty, thiswas not the case for me both times they were super full. I do wish the tortilla on these was a little crispier"

"The delivery was prompt, but the portion sizes were disappointingly small. The General Tso's Chicken was excessively sweet, and there were only a few bits of raw red and green peppers. The meat consisted of tiny chunks that were overly breaded. The fried rice wasn’t actually fried; it was dry and quite awful, essentially just plain rice with a bit of soy sauce. The only redeeming part of the meal was the dumplings, which were perfectly cooked with a delicious filling and had a nice plumpness to them."

"Chile Rellenos we’re good. That’s where it end. Brisket taco was dry and very old meat. Wife took one bite and set it down. Enchiladas were ok but no seasoning Beans were covered in cheese and hid the flavor of the beans. Chips were over fried in oil and weren’t even crunchy. Thought it was bad batch but I watched as other tables pushed theirs aside after 1st sample. Originally came from Phoenix to go to Nellie’s around the corner but they were closed on summer break. Looked at yelp for alternative and they were very close. Have no idea why ratings from others suggested this place deserved a try. Horrible!"
