"I went to this restaurant with a group of five for dinner, and unfortunately, we encountered a series of mishaps. After waiting for an hour without our food, one of us decided to check on its status, and we finally received our meals—cold—just ten minutes later. My girlfriend ordered the Cali burger, which came topped with a partially raw egg (the egg white was runny and transparent) and the burger itself was burnt. She wasn't even asked how she wanted it cooked, and it was devoid of any seasoning, even salt. To make matters worse, she discovered two long hairs in her burger.
I ordered a salad topped with a burger, but I received just the salad. When I was asked if I still wanted a burger, I replied that I would—plus any other protein they had available—yet I ended up finishing my salad without the promised burger. My parents ordered fish tacos, which arrived ice cold and missing the fries they had ordered. My aunt got Buffalo-style wings that were comically served plain, with some sauce sitting at the bottom of the basket; it's baffling how difficult it could have been to toss them in the sauce.
To add to the frustration, our first drink order was taken, but we were left unattended after finishing them. We often saw our waitress chatting with a table behind us—who seemed to be friends of hers—and even saw her drinking in the kitchen. One of us had to go to the bar and wait for a while before being acknowledged. The bar frequently lacked a bartender, and at one point, we amusingly watched as a child, seemingly around ten years old, walked behind the bar and helped himself to a drink.
The most disappointing part of all this is that I recommended this place. I remember when they first opened years ago and they were pretty good. However, my experiences have only gotten worse over time, culminating in tonight's disaster, and now I feel the need to warn others. This experience could have been salvaged if the waitress or any staff had acknowledged the unacceptable service we received. We were handed our check without any follow-up, and we had to track down the waitress just to settle it."
