"I absolutely loved this place! All of the staff were so nice. I'm not sure if he was the owner, manager, etc. But someone was walking around greeting all the diners. My guest and I had already finished our food, but he invited us to stay. Most people seemed to know him and some even hugged him. This us a huge plus for me because he seems to be well integrated and part of the community. This goes to show how amazing the customer service is.The food was also a 10/10. I loved every single thing I ate. The crab and corn soup was almost as good as my mom's. The fish was fried to perfection. The outside was crispy just how I like it. The greens and fried green tomatoes were delicious. My bf loved the ribs and sweet potatoes. The ribs fell off the bone and had a smoked flavor.We didn't love the drinks.Overall, I don't live close but I still 100% be back for the great food and service."

"The food and the wine list are the main attractions at Nell’s. We enjoyed the tasting menu which had ample portions of each course. We also ordered off of the regular menu which was delicious, beautifully plated. The wine list is really exception. A great selection of both bottles and half bottles are available. Staff was friendly and service was fast (came at 10:30a on a Saturday) Inside tables are a comfortable 2 or a cramped 4, but outside seating is benches and shared tables Avocado toast was good, latte and mocha were decent. "These folks are very proud of their offerings but the child sized portions I just paid $12 for has me determined to never spend another dime here. I ordered the falafel platter which, falafel and hummus are possibly 2 of the less expensive items to produce , 1/4 cup of hummus, not enough for half the pita, MAYBE 1/2 cup of salad, 1 olive, 1 tomato wedge, 3 micro medallions of falafel, just not worth it at all. Y'all are overextended and out of touch. This was your 3rd strike with me, I won't be back. Less than a month ago I paid $40 for 3 sandwiches, no sides or drinks included, only sandwiches and one of them was not what we ordered,the other 2 were MEH as the youth say. I'm not impressed. You're not as special as you feel."

"I love Boulevard Cafe in Daly City, California! I 'd the Souvlaki tossed green salad w/the vinagrette dressing on the side! And a hot cup of herbal mint tea! My good friend had the Tuna Salad a Diet Coke! I recommend this family-style restaurant. Usually quite busy depending on the time of day u go. So be prepared 2 wait. But when we went after 03:00 p.m. on a Wednesday, there was 'plenty ' of booths opened! And weekends are 'always ' packed. Parking is limited b/c Boulevard Cafe 's next 2 Westlake Village Apartments. "I took myself and 4 kids (13 and under) to eat breakfast here because we had been here before and it was good. They sat all 5 of us in one booth. Kids food took forever to come out and when I got the bill they charged us a 20% large party gratuity for 5 people. Mind you, I had my 4 kids. I asked the manager why I was charged a 20% gratuity and he was rude while answering my question and walking past the table while he answered. Not to mention a small orange juice is over 4$. We will never come back to this place."

"I believe I ordered the Volcano Explosion roll. It was recommended by the waiter (who was great) since my wife is pregnant and can't eat raw fish. Anyway, it came out raw and we sent it back. Was not happy about it and didn't want to order sushiafter. Wings were fine but douced in sauce and they were on the smaller side. Still, I think the presentation could have beenbetter. Everything else was just okay. Service was kind but the ambiance of the atrium, sitting next to staff running in and outwith orders and supplies can be a tough intimate headspace to get into. They also charged us 50 cents for taking home an extracontainer of the French fry sauce. Totally not a big deal but just wished the overall experience would have been better. Theowners are kind people too and they have a wonderful liquor store that you should definitely check out."

"I got the bison burger and it was a flavorless, dry, charred hockey puck of a burger. I immediately regretted spending all that money there as soon as the burger hit my mouth. The fried green tomatoes and fried chicken that my girlfriend ordered were really good though, saving the food rating from being one star. That being said, I likely wont try it again, as I don't want to spend around 50-60 bucks to be burnt again like that burger."

"The food was absolutely delicious. The sandwiches and salads were fresh and flavorful. Normally, I’m not a fan of turkey, but I had a piece that I didn’t want to waste, and it turned out to be surprisingly good—not at all strange in taste. Just for reference, we ordered four 3-foot sandwiches, along with small portions of pasta salad, macaroni salad, and potato salad. This was enough to serve 40 people, with some leftovers. "We drove through Huston on the way back to Lake Palestine from the spending of the day on Galveston Island... this place had great reviews and they served gourmet hot dogs! What?
