"We have been coming here for thirty years. After we would deplane in Tampa and drive to Sarasota, Cafe Baci was our first stop before driving to our home on Palmer Ranch. We have dined here often because the food was so good. We were just there to celebrate my cousin's first time in Sarasota. I enjoyed a special dish of the day, Sea Bass as did my cousin's husband. My wife had a favorite of hers, a Veal Abundancia. And my cousin also had a special jumbo shrimp dish served over pasta. The meal was wonderful. Tod, our server, was gracious and efficient. The only downside was learning Cafe Baci was closing. There are so few great family restaurants here, and now we are losing one of the best.
