"This past Tuesday was our second visit to Pascal and Sabine. The food was again excellent. The service was efficient (although see comment below). However, I have two issues one minor and one major The minor issue is that the menu is nearly identical to what it was two years ago. A few new items and/or interesting specials are needed at this point The major issue arose when we were presented the check at the end of the meal. A charge was added for bottled water. We never ordered bottled water. In fact, our waitress only asked if we wanted water for the table We never saw a bottle of water during the meal (our water glasses were refilled by a bus girl from a metal pitcher). Padding the bill (which was nearly for three diners) with unauthorized charges is clearly a bad practice for any restaurant (not to mention illegal under the Consumer Fraud Act). Normally I would have questioned such a charge before paying the check; however, we were celebrating a birthday and I didn't want to ruin the evening by getting into a dispute with the waitress over the check. Perhaps it was an innocent mistake; perhaps not. Even if we had ordered bottled water, is pretty high. Not sure if I will visit Pascal and Sabine again or recommend it to anyone."
