"I used to work at Dairy Queen, and it was a really unpleasant experience. The owner would often insult me and yell at me, and I was only 15 at the time. I was paid less than minimum wage (just $8 an hour), and we were consistently overworked. There were nights when I would come home as late as 12 or 1 AM, and my legs would ache from standing for so long. During busy periods, the store would become so messy that we would actually slip on spilled ice cream on the floor. My best friend and I decided to work there together, hoping it would be a good experience, but it was far from that. We worked for hours without any place to sit, as there were no chairs, and breaks were scarce. I genuinely don’t recommend this job to anyone; they should look for better opportunities. Would you want your child working in a place where a 70-year-old man constantly watches through cameras, yelling at you for no reason and micromanaging your every move?"
