"Second time at Jocelyn's, good authentic Mediterranean food. We sampled a nice selection of appetizers, which were all very good. Mixed drinks were well crafted for my co-diners, my scotch on the rocks was a good pour. Main courses were all huge. The chicken shawarma that two of us had was overcooked and on the dry side, but the leftover tzatziki from the apps kept the plate edible. We visited (two couples) on an early on Sunday night and the place was very crowded. There was a table of 20 nearby that did not effect our service, but probably was the reason for the dry shawarma. All the veggies on the apps and mains were fresh and perfectly ripe. We'll be back."

"Menu was limited to barely anything burgers, sandwiches and deep-fried stuff. Definitely doesn’t take anyone too talented to cook that kind of stuff. Service was slow and it wasn’t even busy. My wings were dry and completely overcooked. So disappointed I used to love this place not anymore. I went there for the salmon, and they weren’t even offering it."

"This spot is a cozy spot for dinner! It's very clean and the servers are very kind and welcoming. I didn't get the name of my server but he was very funny and was very helpful in deciding dishes. I got the Beef Bourguignonne, Lobster Bisque, French Onion Soup, Seafood Risotto, Crème Brûlée and the Bread Pudding. I can't quite remember which cocktail I ordered but it was light and refreshing. It was my first time having Beef Bourguignonne and I enjoyed it very much. The meat was tender and pulled apart so easily and the green beans were nice and crunchy. This would be the dish I'd come back for! The seafood risotto was a generous portion and equally delicious. There were many bits of seafood which I appreciated and the creaminess of the risotto made me want to eat more and more of it. I loved the plating of it as well! The only dish I wasn't the biggest fan of was the lobster bisque. I was expecting it to be creamy but it was very watery. I ended the night with 2 desserts which were the crème brûlée and bread pudding with ice cream. My favorite was the bread pudding. It tasted like a warm cake and pairing it with the ice cream made it all that much tastier. It was the perfect dessert to end the meal. This is a great spot for a romantic date night! Highly recommend you check it out and make your reservations!"

"Our overall experience was poor. We have come here several times in the past and this time everything was off. Mike, the manager of The Bistro made a very poor joke about my name and even after pointing out that it was offensive he chose to continue to do so. He never bothered to apologize. Stephanie, our waitress, provided poor service and barely ever checked in with us. The food (their cult classic burger) was good and the same quality as in the past. I am not sure if we will come back here in the future."

"So many things wrong with this restraunt. Starting with the terribly maintained parking lot, entering the uninteresting and outdated atmosphere of the dinning area, the uncomfortable and depressed greeting from the older server and silent awkward stare from the younger, and receiving cornbeef hash that tasted terrible. Unfortunately, can not recommend. Hopefully they invest some time and effort where it needs it most."

"My family was in town recently, so i decided to take them to the cozy corner given its 2, like a 2 minute walk from where I live.... Albion apartment. My ratings are based mainly on the terrible water down coffee, bugs flying around, and the Mexican soup that missed everything. Im not really a breakfast eater, but i do enjoy my coffee in the morning. My family ordered from breakfast and lunch menu. I only ordered coffee, and my brother sister in law gave me the soup that came with their lunch entrée. The first cup of coffee I returned because it was cold/watery. my second cup of coffee was warm/watery, so I didn't drink it. The soup was noodles in a watery tomato base with cheese, avocado, and a tortilla chip. The bugs flying around the table was a huge problem. There were flies and some other types of bugs. Everyone was constantly fanning to keep them off their food. When it was time to pay the bill, there was a fee listed if you used your credit card to pay the bill. To make matters worst its not a set fee. It's calculated on the amount of your bill."

"while the place is beautiful and eating was good, the tiny gnats that have plagued us made our experience less than pleasant. they were all about our eating and us. When we mentioned this to our waitress (which was hoping for a fan or taken home), she only said that she was happy that they were not bees. we saw that others were constantly rolling around their serviettes. it should have been handled better. also we have booked a table on the line, which suggests that there were only two seats, which were on 2pm and one on 5pm. they imagined our surprise when we arrived and the entire indoor dining room was empty with many tables available in free. when we mentioned this to the host, he and said the on line service does not work well with reservations!"

"They did not honor our 8:00 reservation and they kept blowing us off every time we asked about it. We were told we couldn’t enter til 9:00 and that food isn’t served at that time. The manager said they tried to call us to explain the problem but that I didn’t answer. Well, I have the transcript from their voicemail and nothing was said about dinner only that a Ticket to the show is required. I called back and left my own message that everyone in my party had tickets. We were at the venue at 7:45 and told all employees who would listen that we had a dinner reservation at 8:00. They chose to ignore us and everyone of them, including the manager, refused to take responsibility. They finally let us in at 8:45 and hurriedly took dinner orders making sure to tell us again that the restaurant closes at 9:00!!! This was the worst restaurant situation I’ve ever dealt with. Very disappointing. I would recommend Victory House for live shows, but not for a dinner and show combination."

"absolutely delicious meal. it was a very long time that I can actually say that everything was fantastic. all staff, from hostess to the servers, were top notch! we will definitely return regularly. "to be at the border of the old town and the northern freedoms, is amazing that we are in an oasis in what is not too high, but with great closeness to all the pleasantities of being in the city. it is easy to drive to north to nolibs and fishtown, and it is also just a few minutes walk from old city, society hill, jump arts and center city (and more). we loved living here in the last three years. we bought our pre-COVID site after we looked all over the place in the city. from where we were before, we felt as if the prices were quite a deal (in retrospect we would have tried to negotiate something). the HOA fees are more than fair for a building with concierge and gym. the only complaint I have is that people with outside space do not pay any higher HOA fee. in most other buildings they would. the personal when we came in was great, and although there was a turnover (before the writing), the staff is currently fabulous and I hope they never leave. this is one of the quieter large buildings in which we have also lived what a bonus is. from home it was nice not to distract too many sound. we love living here. most neighbours are friendly. it is incredibly pet-friendly and it has now also opened a solid caffe on-location (be well spring). we look forward to our future time here!"

"Really bummed. My boys got cheesesteaks and they were happy. I got chicken in a waffle cone. Wow was this bad. There is no way that chicken is homemade. It's actually false advertising. There is 99% probability it is frozen nuggets. The taste was not good. I wasted $12 that is for certain. Cheese and co curds were good. Definitely didn't need two orders though. The ranch was awful. Wish there was a better dipping sauce. All in all kind of disappointing. I had high hopes. It fell very short for me and our family"

"There were so many things that went too many wrongs to codify. We go to the restaurant and it was closed. What? Since I had a confirmed reservation, I went to the reception of the Doubletree and the true superstar here was Juanita, staff member of the reception. There was another couple the parents of the bridegroom big wedding party that had blocked rooms on the property that wanted to feed. Juanita was given permission to act as our waitress. Menus were given and between dealing with the reception and us, it came through, but at what cost? The menu did not fit the website and the menu on the open table. Streng bar food. Wings were fine, I liked my chicken Milanese, but my Co Diner's chicken was frozen and quickly cooked. Something's really going on tonight."

"The Pearl Restaurant was found CLOSED when we arrived on time for our reservation, despite multiple confirmations through Open Table. Luckily, the hotel bar was open and the kitchen was staffed (to handle hotel room service) and the bartender Santos scrambled to accommodate us and two other parties in the bar. Santos did a great job under the circumstances, even though he was the only person handling the room... It seemed very strange that a Hilton property would close a restaurant when the hotel is open AND not communicate with Open Table."

"The place had a big tournament the day I visited.. However I gotta say, and I don 't like making negative reviews. That being said. The beer was cold, and I liked the TV layout. I ordered the fish and chips. Big mistake . The fish was so overcooked I had a hard time cutting into it with a fork! I had one piece, and some fries. Fries were ok. I couldn 't get the tab, and pay to get outta there fast enough!! Barfed the fish up in the parking lot! I 'll go back. Not going to order the fish,and chips!!! Whew..."
