"I've been on the lookout for a good African restaurant to satisfy my cravings for fufu and pepper soup since moving to Texas. This place popped up as one of the top choices in Houston, and I really wanted to enjoy it. However, as soon as the food arrived, I noticed something was off. I hope I just happened to get a bad batch of pepper soup, but the goat meat didn't taste fresh at all, which contributed to an unpleasant smell—it reminded me of a petting zoo. I don't mean to be offensive, but that's honestly the closest comparison I can make. The fufu appeared to be made from cassava flour, which isn't necessarily bad, but I'm more accustomed to the fresh, smooth version, so perhaps that's just my personal preference. On a positive note, the jollof rice was decent, and the staff were genuinely sweet."
