"Culinary nirvana for $2.50. I rarely rant about food online. But Quoc Huong is my favorite restaurant along the cultural potpourri that is Buford Highway and one of my favorite restaurants overall, regardless of price point.<br/ <br/ A mere $2.50 gets you a BBQ bahn mi that rivals the flavor of any BBQ I've had in the South or elsewhere. The spicy sweet heat paired with the subtle vinegar flavor from the pickled vegetables feels simultaneously foreign and familiar. The texture of the perfectly crusty baguette and crunchy vegies rounds out the experience for the best $2.50 dish you'll ever eat.<br/ <br/ While the bahn mi alone is well worth the trip, don't overlook the Pho. The broth is complex and rivals Pho Dai Loi 2 one of my favorite pho places on Buford Hwy. I sopped up every last drop of my Pho Tai Nam with the ends of my bahn mi.<br/ <br/ Less than $10 will get you a meal to remember, but be sure to bring cash (no plastic accepted). I have borderline unhealthy cravings for this place, and merely writing this review leaves me counting down the days until I can venture up to Chamblee to get more.
