"I recently visited Learn How to Cook Pasta and was thoroughly disappointed by the experience. This was, without a doubt, the worst Italian-American food I've ever had. The prices were excessive considering the bland and tasteless food served in minuscule portions.
I ordered the Capellini Pomodoro, and it was a complete letdown. The pasta was overcooked and clumped together. There was no real Pomodoro sauce; just a few cold, diced tomatoes and some watery spinach leaves. The dish was utterly flavorless and basically tasted like overcooked pasta in water.
Next, I tried the Veal Parmigiana, which was also lackluster. The red sauce resembled something out of a jar, and the pasta on the side was once again overcooked and clumpy. At least the veal was tender, but that was the only redeeming quality.
I also ordered a Caesar Salad. Unfortunately, it fell flat as well—the dressing was unremarkable, the croutons were stale, and for $11, the portion was exceptionally small.
Lastly, the Casa Salad was a disappointment too. The dressing was simply oil, and for $12, the portion was ridiculously tiny. To top it off, the small piece of bread provided for two salads was stale.
Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant, as the quality of food does not justify the high prices."
