"For appetizers, we tried the shrimp Dijon and one of their off-menu specials, stuffed mushrooms, and both were absolutely phenomenal! From the very first bite, we could tell that whatever we ordered would be exceptional. Each dish is prepared with such care, perfection, and love—qualities that many restaurants tend to overlook when they get busy. We also shared the steakhouse wedge salad, which was delightful; the blue cheese comes from a local cheesemaker who supplies all their cheese, and it was fantastic.
For my husband's main course, he went with the TWR Burger, upgrading his fries to truffle Parmesan fries. The burger patty wasn’t thick, but it was still satisfying and delicious, and the fries were amazing. I decided to be adventurous and ordered the duck special, which exceeded my expectations! The presentation alone was worth five stars, and the taste was incredible—even though I typically don’t eat duck, I enjoyed it immensely!
We also decided to split a side of mac and cheese, and for the first time in a long time, I wasn’t disappointed! I had stopped ordering it at restaurants because it usually didn't meet my expectations, but The Walrus Room nailed it. To end our celebration, we shared a chocolate martini and an ice cream cookie. The cookie was quite thick, so be ready for that, but it was delicious! The drink was heavenly, and I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant.
Our server was wonderful—very attentive and checked on us at all the right moments. She did a great job promoting the menu and specials, and provided us with fresh plates and silverware after each course. Thank you for such a fantastic experience! We will definitely be back!"
