"I have had a great experience every time I have come here. The italian ice and custard is a great consistency, and they have plenty of flavors to choose from. When I come, I get a small watermelon italian ice, which is my favorite. The reason it is my favorite is because the flavor of it isn't too sweet, like it is at other places. "I’m not sure who the older man working there is—whether he owns the place or not—but my experience this afternoon was frustrating. I bought some food and, when I went to leave, my car wouldn’t start. I returned inside and asked the girl if anyone could move the car parked next to mine. "Red Oven is a small pizza place in a nice part of North County. We went there last night and had a great time! We started with the garlic bread, which was really good. It was half a loaf of bread covered in cheese (full loaf also available). The pizza was good too. It was only 12 inches, but along with the bread, just enough for the two of us. We got a Neapolitan pizza and added sausage to it. This also has fresh basil on it. We noticed later that they grow their own basil on site, which was cool. The pizza was good and you can tell it was cooked in a special oven. I do wish it had more toppings on it, but I liked it as is. The restaurant is pretty nice and new. Overall I would go here again."
