I have been dining here for many years, usually visiting at least once a week, if not more. It's a fantastic value for your hard-earned money! I highly recommend Eastbay Diner! Wheelchair accessibility: My husband used a wheelchair for many years, and this was a great place for us since access was smooth, and the owner and staff were incredibly accommodating. "I am simply an Uber Eats driver and I had to pick up a meal and I think it was the owner or manager, he is a disgusting morbid person of the worst kind, he couldn't take his disgusting look off of me and when it It was time to deliver the food, he left it on the table so that he could come in until to take it and thus be able to look at myself intimidatingly more closely. In my life, something so painful has happened to me that an owner or manager has to do this type of thing. "I went here on a last minute meet up with a friend. It's location was a little weird to me but hey, I guess any place in Westfield is a good place. Its a hip place and feels inviting when you walk in. I of course, made my way to the bar to have a seat. To my surpirise it is not a full bar, they only serve wine and sangria. Well I wouldn't let that news rain on my parade, so a pitcher of red sangria please! They have an interesting menu, but from my experience there, you can't go wrong with anything chicken related. I tried a spicy corn roll (yes,they serve sushi) and their fried chicken sammich. Sushi roll, not to my liking....but that chicken sammich sang sweet melodies to my heart haha. So if you are a fried chicken lover this is a place to go, if not then allow them to make you one. They also have karaoke rooms for reservation if you feel like being a rockstar."

"We had a great experience having brunch at this restaurant! After missing the Cross Sound Ferry back to Rhode Island, we stayed at a nearby hotel and found this place near the Sayville ferry. Despite the Sunday morning rush, we were able to snag bar seating. I ordered the corned beef hash which was delicious and clearly made from scratch. My companion got the eggs and avocado Benedict with turkey bacon, also tasty. The specialty drink menu looked tempting, especially the cereal and mimosa flights. Although our server could have been more attentive, I would definitely make the effort to dine here again before or after catching the Sayville ferry. It's no wonder why this place is a local favorite."

"Me and my wife visited this location for dinner, one of the waitress told us to sit anywhere we'd like, there were 2 waitresses, and the one that helped us seemed to be in a rush, eventhough she said hi, she asked us if we were ready, we said not quite ready and she walked away, the coffe we got was cold and seemed to be sitting in the pot for a long time, she came back and took our order, we ordered a sampler appetizer that came at the same time as the dinner, my Philly cheese steak was good and hot, the French fries were cold, my wife ordered the taco salad and had a good presentation but as she started to eat it looked like they chopped 3 hamburger patties and placed them on top of a handful of lettuce, the waitress disappeared for a few minutes and we had to call the bus boy so my wife can order something else, then the waitress came and we told her the situation and she rolled her eyes and took the new order, the she came and dropped the French toast which half wasn't cook all the way, she never came back to check on us, finally she came and slammed the check on the table and walked away, we didn't want to complain about the food cos she might think we wanted free food. Anyway we always go to country inn in prospect. But tonight we wanted to give it a try here. It's sad how restaurant business is not what it used to be, nowadays owners managers are so greedy that the only thing they care is to make money, and servers see that if they are careless(owners and managers) of course nobody cares, I used to work for a long time in the restaurant business and was totally different great service and good food( this is the second order we got. Just to prove that is not BS!!!!"

"Pretty solid diner food. I had this talaria dish with pineapple and coconut that was on the specials menu that was very good. There were lots of sides to go around with our meals, from curly fries and sweet potato fries to butter corn and house salad. Most of us took some food home in a box, so while it was slightly expensive for a diner, we got our money's worth."

"First time at mikes royal, without the royal experience. Ordered 3 eggs over easy with home fries without onions and peppers, and whole wheat toast. Was told they don’t make the home fries to order, it’s already made for the day with the onions and peppers. I said forget the home fries , I’ll take the mini hash browns.When the food arrived, I got two eggs over easy with 7 mini hash browns, and white toast. Asked the waitress about the other egg, at which she said no problem, and went to go put the order in for the other egg. When the other egg comes out, I asked if I can get whole wheat toast, at which she said, anything else? With some attitude like I was asking for too much. No, just what I ordered, I said.The eggs were the least tasty (no flavor) out of all the diners in bay ridge. Emphasis, which is terrible has better eggs than these guys.Definitely not the best first time, definitely not going back. Two places much better than this is bay ridge diner and fort Hamilton diner on 95 and 4. Fort Hamilton diner makes your food to order. No premade stuff for all."

"Having been in florida for the last decade I was extremely excited to go to a good ol' jersey diner again. The nostalgic feeling surpassed the food I remember as a young man. It was just OKAY. Maybe it would be better late night after a few drinks like I used to do. French onion soup was bland as can be, the French dip was bland as can be (had to ask for horse radish sauce for flavor) my lady had the gyro and zucchini fries. Idk why she ordered a gyro from a diner LOL clearly frozen mystery meat. And thr zucchini fries tasted like everything else out of the fryer. The regular fries were good. Prices were a little wild. "I ordered a medium-rare chopped steak, but it was served well done. I sent it back, and when it returned, it was raw, which was quite off-putting for everyone at the table. I decided to take it home to cook myself. When the manager came to check on the second steak, I informed him it was still raw and that I would be taking it home. He agreed the steak was undercooked and offered to replace it, but by that point, I had completely lost my appetite. While I did take the steak home, I believe the manager should have removed it from the bill. Additionally, the other dishes were disappointing as well; the chicken was overcooked and tasted like it had been reheated. I've dined here a few times before without any issues, so it seems like this was just an off night. I think it will take me some time to feel comfortable returning."

"I ordered a turkey, mushroom, and mozzarella omelette, and placed my order at 9:07 AM. It was delivered at 9:30 AM, and I must say, the taste was fantastic. Given the terrible weather, I expected the restaurant to call and cancel my order, but they didn’t. I saw the delivery guy biking here and felt really bad for him, as it was rainy and windy. I appreciated his effort so much that I tipped him 20%; I wish I could have given more. The omelette was excellent, and even though I'm not usually a fan of potatoes, I think I’ll give them a try next time. Overall, great job! I’ll definitely be ordering again soon."

"My friend and I visited this restaurant for breakfast today and arrived at 9:05 AM. Unfortunately, it took an entire hour for our meals to arrive. When they finally did, my friend’s toast was burnt to a crisp, and I ended up breaking a tooth on some overcooked bacon. To make matters worse, they started turning away customers due to the long wait for food preparation. Both my friend and I have lived in this town our whole lives, and we've never experienced such poor service or food quality. We definitely won’t be returning."
