"My wife and I stopped by for dinner and found the restaurant about half full. After a short wait, our server came over and took our order. We asked for her recommendations, and she confidently shared a few options. My wife chose the stir fry, and I went with the hot beef sandwich. Both dishes were excellent—her suggestions were spot on! We were both very pleased with our meals, and the prices were reasonable. The service was great, and the restaurant was clean. We'll definitely be back!"

"08/02/2024 My wife and I went to supper tonight for what we thought was going to be a nice supper and evening out. We arrived at approximately a little after 8:00pm. Seated as soon as we walked in by the manager. Waitress came and took our drink order. Returned with our drinks, coffee for my wife and lemonade for me. She came back in a reasonable time and took our order. Wife ordered eggs over easy, white toast, home fries and bacon crispy. I ordered bone in wings and cole slaw. That's when everything went down hill. Started with our waitress never coming back to refill my wife's coffee. We had to ask another waitress for a refill and extra napkins because our waitress was to busy horsing around at the counter and going outside to smoke.We ordered our food at about 8:20 pm. Did not receive our food until 8:40 pm. She forgot my wife's toast and my Cole slaw was dry with no dressing or anything on it. Just plain shredded lettuce. Could not eat it. We told another waitress about it, and she told the manager who took it off our check. Our original waitress never came back to check on us until she brought our check. No apologies for our meal service that we had. Between (our waitress), the cooks and other customers at the counter horsing around joking with each other. Sorry for the long review, but they need to respect and take care of their customers"

"We made a reservation tonight for after the Clemson football game, we are from out of town. Well, I sent the address to my husband and he went to the wrong one. I called and they said, come on! They were so accommodating and the food was absolutely amazing! Marissa was our server and she was fantastic, all the orders were correct and delicious. She is very knowledgeable of the menu and my vegan veggie burger and kale salad (which is why I picked there) well worth the distance and was just so yummy! Don’t miss out, get your reservation and try them out!"

"Visiting Denver for a week for business and decided to go out with my coworkers for some steak. This place has 4 stars on Google so seemed safe enough but unfortunately we were very wrong. We ordered their $40 steaks but what we were served was far from being worth the price. None of the steaks were cooked right, half of mine was overcooked and the other half was undercooked and they were pretty bland (had to use steak sauce just to give it some flavor). I could probably cook a better steak in my hotel room than the garbage they served us. We complained and was told “sorry” and that was it. My coworkers ordered some cheesecake and another round of beers and we waited…and waited and 30 minutes later they were never brought out so we said to cancel those orders and just bring our checks. 30 minutes after that, they came out and said they forgot who ordered what and had to write it all down again. 30 minutes after that, they said they couldn’t ring us up individually and could only split the total price for our table equally. 20 minutes after that, they finally brought out the checks. So we had to sit around for almost 1.5 hours just waiting to pay our checks. The manager saw the issue the waitress was having when trying to split the checks but just went about his business without solving the issue or extending us any type of apology. At the end, we asked 3 different employees to get the manager for us but he never bothered to speak with us. All of this waiting, and horrible service and there were only a few other tables in the entire restaurant so they were far from being busy. This hits the top of my list for worst experience, and worst customer service and I would highly recommend that you avoid this place to save yourself some money and a lot of time."

"Service was excellent from the minute we walked into the restaurant (actually before we walked in when the hostess helped to open the door for my handicapped mother). "Five person reservation before catching a movie. We sat down and we did not receive water/ get to order for 30 minutes. Short staffed, but the staff that was working did not seem to care and had endless attitude. We ordered a mix of entrees includingsalads, onion rings, beef burger, and bison burger. Every single entree had an issue regarding quality, missing items, beingundercooked, etc. We spent 1HR 15 minutes at the restaurant and didn’t eat a single dish. We ended up getting fast food to-gobefore our movie. The last dining experience was a few years ago, and I had bison bone inside of my burger. I was hoping thatit would be better this time because it was always good growing up. I would avoid at all cost. *side note- the chef cannotcook meat properly. One of our guest ordered medium well and the burger was as rare as could be. Borderline “blue” iffamiliar with this cooking temperature. Absolutely horrendous restaurant."

"Bison, bison, bison! Just as Tina, our *incredible* waitress said, this place is truly the PLACE TO BE! Sure, the menu is a bit on the pricey side, but trust me, the quality is *so* worth every penny. My husband and I used to be die-hard Texas Roadhouse fans for our date nights, but after stumbling upon this gem, we’re never looking back! The bison steak? Absolutely melts in your mouth. The service? Top-notch—our food came out within *8 minutes* of ordering! The macaroni side dish may have light cheese, but those noodles? Perfection like I’ve never experienced before. And let me tell you, the moment Tina handed us those brined cucumbers/pickles as a starter, I *instantly* fell in love with this place. Ted’s is officially our forever spot! We’ve never had such a delightful experience at any restaurant before. Oh, and if you go, you *must* ask for Tina—she 's not just knowledgeable about the menu but also shared how Ted’s raises their own bison. "My visit to this Ted’s Montana location was my first experience trying the chain. The restaurant was pretty quiet when I came in with a friend for a weeknight dinner. Our server did a great job answering any questions we had as first-time customers. We ordered the Green and Hot Burger with a bison patty and 50/50 Fries Onion Rings as the side. We also got the Bison Short Ribs entree and switched out the Buttered Carrots for Parmesan Roasted Broccoli. Both entrees arrived pretty quickly; food presentation was done pretty well. The burger was pretty average compared to others I’ve had. The kitchen skimped quite a bit on the toppings. The Onion Rings didn’t taste very fresh; the breading tasted a bit stale. The Bison Short Ribs were a little chewy for a short rib. They could have been braised a bit longer for a more tender texture. The mashed potatoes were creamy and flavorful, but the Parmesan Roasted Broccoli was a bit undercooked and hard to chew. Overall, my experience at this Ted’s Montana was mediocre. Food quality was very hit or miss. Service was decent throughout our visit. I’m glad I tried Ted’s Montana, but I wouldn’t return to this location again"

"Dining out has changed quite a bit lately. Ted's offered a typical experience, with food that’s slightly above average—depending on your expectations—and decent service. It was quite busy at 7 PM on a Thursday with limited staff. The servers who attended to me were excellent. However, some other staff members appeared unfriendly and seemed slightly annoyed by the rush, which I can understand, but they could at least put on a better front since it's customer service. The food was enjoyable: I had the bison strip along with a broccoli and kale salad. Nothing overly fancy, but it was tasty. The wine selection was impressive, and the liquor options were solid. I didn’t look into the beer options, so I can't comment on that."

"From the moment I walked in, it took no more than one and a half minutes before I was greeted by Lynn. Her customer service was incredibly warm and welcoming, and my entire family felt right at home. The wait for our drinks and meals was quicker than any I've experienced since the pandemic began. The food quality and temperature were spot-on, and every bite was a delight. I highly recommend this restaurant for families looking to dine out. They even have private rooms for larger parties, and the music selection was perfect as an added bonus."

"My grandparents used to take me here every weekend I stayed with them. My Poppy would always reach up high to grab me a bowl of blue jello. I'd always eat the same thing: chopped steak, green beans, rice gravy. Then, after our meal, my Poppy would ask the waiter for a balloon and he would tie it to my wrist. My Poppy passed in July of 2021. Today I went to eat at S S with my mother. I hadn't been here in 20 years or so. I was thrown into nostalgia walking down the hallway, the round tiles still the same, finally tall enough to peek through the window slats into the dining room. The food tastes the same as it did 20 years ago, delicious and comforting. I honored tradition and got the same food I used to eat when I was a child. I'm so happy I got to stop in. This place will always hold a very special place in my heart."
